The zippered side pocket offers quick access to small essentials whilst also keeping them safe and secure. The padded straps and the padded back cushions lend comfort and support. The external USB charging port lets you charge your phone on the go without exposing the bag.
The zippers feel a little flimsy.
Even though Della Gao Laptop Backpack measures average compared to most anti-theft backpacks, the model's capacity extends 45 litres. That and the roomy laptop compartment will let you bring a 17.3-inch laptop and many different essentials and accessories with you.

The reflective stripe, despite its thin form, makes the rucksack more aesthetically pleasing and the person wearing the bag more visible during nighttime. The logo above this stripe is reflective too. The handle features generous padding, reducing discomfort and fatigue when carrying the backpack by hand.
The side mesh pockets are not very strong.
BAG.IT London Anti-Theft Backpack is where form meets function. The model's clean profile houses more pockets and compartments than anyone needs. Despite its mellow appearance, the bag is scratch-resistant and protected against the most considerable downpours.

The USB port is shoddy.
WENIG Anti-Theft Backpack is more resistant and resilient than most budget anti-theft models. Its zippers will last at least 1,000 closings and openings. Aside from the standard water-repellent layer, the bag adopts an Oxford fabric to make its construction tear-resistant.

The pocket hidden in the shoulder strap is perfect for holding tickets and ID cards, enabling secure storage and easy retrieval. When you're wearing the backpack, the pocket behind the back pillow remains 100% inaccessible to thieves, so you can hide the most valuable belongings there.
There's no combination lock.
Sosoon Store Laptop Backpack, in true anti-theft fashion, hides its advantages, not excluding the foam-padded back with soft ventilated mesh pillows to give you extra back support and shoulder straps featuring massage mats to ease the pressure on the shoulders.

The carry handle is stitched poorly.
AMBOR Anti-Theft Laptop Backpack ticks most boxes without raising the costs. The backpack looks pretty stylish, discreet but not too boring. The front compartment features five pockets, allowing you to separate the phone from the tablet and wallet.

The Roomiest Rucksack
Della Gao Laptop Backpack is huge. Capacity-wise, this rucksack reaches 45 litres, so you can carry more possessions and belongings with you than you need. Counting every separation point, the bag features at least 20 pockets. These include three spacious main multi-compartments (two inside and one outside) with multiple hidden pockets where you can hide and store various college supplies, travel accessories, clothes, and more.
The side pocket is deep and zippered too, offering easy access to essentials, whereas the obligatory side elastic net pockets have not gone anywhere as well, accepting bottles, umbrellas, the standard drill. Between the two compartments inside, the one with a pocket fits even 17.3-inch laptops.
Even though the price suggests otherwise, this is not some cheap product, so the integrated USB charging port, the headphones jack, even reflective stripes are all there, matching the most expensive anti-theft backpacks. The zippers feel a little flimsy but when you're packing these many features and make the bag so roomy yet keep the price around 20 quid, this is understandable.
In other words, Della Gao Laptop Backpack is the bag that you can use daily, sure, but this is also the bag that you can travel with.

Design Mirroring Functionality
BAG.IT London Anti-Theft Backpack is sleek, matching high-end anti-theft models' aesthetics whilst keeping the price more than sensible. You even have the reflective stripe borrowed from the XD Design's Bobby line. Aside from appearance purposes, this stripe will make you more visible at night, minimising any accidents chances. The company's logo above the stripe is reflective, by the way.
Aside from its clean outline though, this rucksack is not that different from its competition. You have the main compartment that can house standard 15.6-inch laptops, the front compartment that features multiple pockets inside, one front pocket, two side pockets, and a pocket hidden inside the shoulder strap.
Not unlike most backpacks', the side mesh pockets are not especially strong, so we would not recommend testing them and putting anything but bottles and maybe apples there. The upside is that the straps are adjustable, not bringing anything new to the table but we're fine with that. We're more than fine with the handle, featuring generous padding that lets you carry the bag without squeezing the hand.
Once more, BAG.IT London Anti-Theft Backpack is sleek, clean, and discreet, with its design mirroring functionality.

Looking the Part, Playing the Part
WENIG Anti-Theft Backpack looks the part and plays the part. Its metal zippers have survived above 1,000 zipping and unzipping tests, so you will not have to worry about them jamming up.
From the security angle, the combination lock next to the handle lets you choose and input any three-digit code, so good luck to anyone hacking the bag. Now, from the construction viewpoint, underneath the waterproof finish, the backpack hides high-strength Oxford fabric with nylon lining, making the bag resistant against tearing.
Everything here makes sense and serves its purpose, from the hook that lets you hoist pens and sunglasses, keeping them always at hand to the wide breathable shoulder straps that are adopting plentiful sponge pads, relieving stress from the shoulders.
The backpack has its shortcomings too, you cannot avoid them, not at this price bracket anyway. But, besides the shoddy USB port that will have you err on the side of caution, these shortcomings are negligible.
Long story short, WENIG Anti-Theft Backpack is more than it lets on, hiding pockets inside and sealing the ones that are outside. With this bag, you're offered separates spaces where you can organise everything from the phone to the wallet to the documents.

Hiding the Goodies
At first glance, it is not easy to tell why Sosoon Store Laptop Backpack dominates the budget anti-theft backpack segment. Generally speaking, with these anti-theft models, you have to look inside to see to appeal. Inside, you'll find two main compartments, including the laptop one. But there's nothing interesting about these compartments.
So, you go back outside, where the bag is hiding more than you initially realise. Move the shoulder straps and you will spot the foam-padded back featuring thick, soft, multi-panel ventilated breathable mesh pillows, giving you excellent back support. To add more, the backpack incorporates breathable and adjustable shoulder straps with massage mats, making you feel like you're carrying ~25% less weight. Even the top handle is foam-padded so that you can carry the rucksack without experiencing any discomfort throughout the palm.
Now, despite its multiple advantages, including the integrated USB charging port, the headphones jack, the reflective stripe, and the sunglasses/pen hook, the backpack comes without a combination lock, featuring a lock shackle instead. This is a shame but, even taking that into account, Sosoon Store Laptop Backpack is too good to overlook.

Travel with Safety and Style
AMBOR Anti-Theft Laptop Backpack does not look as dull as anti-theft rucksacks can look at times, something that we can appreciate. We can also appreciate the two main pockets, nine inner pockets, and two side pockets, offering separated space that you can use to organise everything the way you see fit so that you can easily find the right item without searching through the entire bag. We do not appreciate the carry handle though, featuring no padding at all and, at best, passable stitching.
What's less upsetting is that, between the two main compartments, you have one that features a pocket that accepts 17.3-inch laptops, which's great since that means the bag can accommodate gaming laptops too. By the way, the above-mentioned side pockets are closeable too, so you can put not only inexpensive stuff there (like bottles and umbrellas) but also different valuable items.
Besides these differences, the model's not unlike most anti-theft models, from the integrated USB charging port allowing you to keep a power bank inside and charge the phone without exposing the items inside the bag and the headphones jack serving the same purpose. Add to the list the padded back, straps, and the luggage belt, count the affordable price, and you can see why this backpack earns its spot on our list.

What Is an Anti-Theft Backpack?
These days, we carry with us more valuable items than ever before, from different gadgets to various access instruments and solutions like keys, credit cards, and so on. At the same time, we are getting more and more distracted, meaning more vulnerable and susceptible to theft.
That's where anti-theft backpacks are able to provide some assistance. These bags come equipped with various theft prevention solutions, from lockable hidden zippers and secret compartments to cut-resistant and even slash-proof straps and panels. The best anti-theft backpacks even come fitted with RFIDsafe™ blocking pockets that are able to turn RFID readers pretty much useless.
Of course, these are backpacks before anything else, so they're supposed to be comfortable too, meaning that most companies do not forget to add things like padded straps and panels. Also, more often than not, anti-theft backpacks are adopting laptop and tablet compartments since more and more people nowadays do not leave the house without these gadgets.
Needless to say though, these bags are designed to be worn around urban areas first and foremost, so they're not as roomy as hiking backpacks where you can even put backpacking water filters.
