About the Product
The cabinet isn't just compact, it's also very solid. This combination gives the Diamonds an extremely accurate sound quality as the cabinet doesn't flex or vibrate like larger, less well made speakers. Equally impressive are the drive units.
The multi-Award-Winning Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 bookshelf speakers are a real classic in the world of bookshelf speakers. The curved cabinets, usually only found on much more expensive speakers, help eliminate vibrations and dissipate standing waves.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Wharfedale Diamond 9.0 Black
- The speakers are a great size and the sound is excellent and getting better.
- The sound is excellent. Compact size but as good as our old large Wharfedale speakers!
- It's pretty good for the small size of the speakers, and they are perfect if you don't want to disturb the neighbors too much. The size really pleased me.
- Fantastic little speakers quality sound quality look we worth the price clear sound good bass.
- These are weighty. They don't feel like light, cheap things. When you pick them up, you can feel the weight of the cabinet, which shocked me last year.
Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 Bookshelf Speakers
- These are solid little speakers. For their size the weight is deceptive, which also assists with the sound quality.
- The sounds is very clear , very natural. They are very loudy for the size of it, nicely done.
- Excellent product that for their size give out a clean punchy sound that compliments any decent amplifier.
- These Wharfedale 9.1's provide an amazing sound considering their low price and compact size.
- These are very heavy speakers and as I say finding heavy duty brackets to withstand the weight has been tricky.

What customers say about "Audio"
Wharfedale Diamond 9.0 Black
- They even sound like big speakers, lovely high frequencies aswell and the bass is gentle but powerful, no bass saturation.
- They sound great as long as you don't try to overload them with volume - rich bass and good mid and treble.
- The sound produced is excellent, very clean. Bass is powerful and very tight, although no match for a dedicated subwoofer.
- The mid-range is strong and the treble whilst doesn't quite sparkle, is very clear and distinct. Games sound immersive, music is vivid and lively, movie sound effects are powerful.
- The sound is very weak, bass is completely absent. When I push the volume it gives me headaches.
Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 Bookshelf Speakers
- The clarity of sound is absolutely amazing. The perfect addition to my surround package.
- Nice rich powerful bass and very good mid-range and highs without distortion. They punch well above their weight.
- These deliver a really good sound at low volume through to very high volume. Nice sound, well made, good finish and at a sensible price.
- The high frequencies are very clear and the bass is powerful and tight.
- I must say that we definitely need a subwoofer as these speakers do not like to much bass.

- Its a wood frame with gold plated metal connectors and is excellent sturdy with a nice weight to them so they feel good.
- They're very well built and have a high quality look and feel. They are powerful and very loud for their size.
