The mats are resistant to cracking, even when faced with a -30°C (-22°F) temperature. They conform to the relevant ISO flammability standard, so you won't have to worry about them catching fire. They're also impervious to abrasion and snagging.
A slightly more delicate composition requires extra care.
These high-quality universal car mats aren't for everyone. We would recommend them to individuals who dislike cheap accessories and are willing to spend a few extra pounds on a nice set of mats. They're more durable than most and the fitting holes will keep them in place.

The particularly hard and stiff rubber will prevent the mats from slipping. The rubber is waterproof and its tough composition won't just protect the floor of your car from dirt and moisture but also from different sources of physical damage.
The mats are stiff, so there's a chance you'll have a hard time cutting them.
Frontier CM107 are a bit more practical than most of the car mats in our review. It's not that much of a difference but if you're the type of person who tends to put his car in all kinds of dangerous environments, this is a product for you.

Polypropylene is a safe and environmentally friendly material. It doesn't emit any unpleasant odours. Thanks to its low density, the material remains flexible and elastic for a longer period of time.
The mats are prone to scratches.
If you're not a fan of those unappealing rubber chunks covering the floor of your car, you might want to give JVL Contour a shot. They require a bit more in terms of maintenance but the attractive and original design makes the extra effort worth it.

Who Said Mats Can't be Luxurious?
There isn't that much wiggle room with car mats as they're inherently simple accessories. That said, there are still things here and there that you can improve upon and we would say that the people behind Ford 1947554 have done a better job of that than just about any other manufacturer out there.
Instead of rubber, they went with thermoplastic elastomers and velour. The former is the key behind the mat's sturdy composition. Velour, on the other hand, gives the product a luxurious touch.
Naturally, luxury and style aren't the most important thing when it comes to car mats. You want them to last. And these will certainly do that. The mats are resistant to cracking, even when faced with a -30°C (-22°F) temperature. They conform to the relevant ISO flammability standard, so you won't have to worry about them catching fire.
Despite the accelerated exposure to various automotive interior trim components, you won't see the product fading. Finally, despite the luxurious design, the mats are impervious to abrasion and snagging. They're just as resistant against spillage and they do not omit any kind of odour.
All things considered, these high-quality universal car mats will fit any customer who dislikes cheap accessories and is willing to spend a few extra pounds on a nice set of mats. They're more durable than most and the fitting holes will keep them in place.
Mats That Stay in Place
XtremeAuto is a slightly too bombastic name for our taste but we're willing to admit that it suits their products rather well. Their mats specifically as they tend to be tough as nails and the model in question is no exception. These things are to install and they keep your car's carpets well-protected.
One of the best parts of these mats isn't just their tough structure but the design. Thanks to the dimpled area, the mats stay in place, exactly where you put them. They do not slide or move around. The manufacturers refer to it as super grip and, again, we may not be the biggest fans of the name, but you can't deny the effectiveness of their design.
Of course, to a greater or lesser extent, most car mats feature some sort of non-slip backing. But these are also particularly easy to clean. Just wipe them over with a damp cloth and you should be good to go. Sure, they will initially emit that rubber smell that some people find unpleasant. But it will be gone after a few days, so we don't feel like emphasising this tiny drawback.
In short, the rubber car mats from XtremeAuto are definitely tough and robust. The quality makes them attractive to all kinds of customers and the size makes them suitable for people who drive Qashqai, Ford Fiesta, Fiat 500, Ford Focus, most BMWs and the absolute majority of modern cars.
Adjust to Your Car
A couple of things convinced us to put JVL Linear so high up on our list. First, there's the mats' design that features a sort of chequered pattern. Featuring deep ridges in the rubber, the mats essentially trap the dirt from your shoes. Plus, a design like that equally distributes moisture and dirt throughout the entirety of the surface instead of accumulating it on the edges.
Speaking of rubber, we would be remiss not to mention that the mats are made of 100% textured rubber. Aside from trapping dirt and providing some extra grip under the foot, the material is simply durable and robust, virtually impervious to the wear and tear of everyday life.
JVL Linear are just as waterproof as the next mats, so they'll be able to keep your carpets dry. Plus, for a very modest price, you'll get yourself 4 different pieces, 2 for the front of your vehicle and 2 to put in the rear. They're designed to fit the absolute majority of modern cars and a good chunk of the older ones.
But if you find them too large for your interior, the mats can be easily trimmed to adjust the fit. The pieces may be a bit too thin for some people's taste, but we would say that the rough composition makes up for the slender frame.
To sum it up, JVL Linear will keep your carpet well-protected. These car mats are a good choice for people who prefer to keep their car as neat and clean as possible. The modest price makes them even more attractive. Plus, the mats perform equally well under any weather conditions.
Low Maintenance
Frontier CM107 isn't the cheapest set on our list. But a few pounds do not really make that much of a difference. It is also not the most sophisticated option on the market. But car mats do not have to be sophisticated. They ought to keep your the lower part of your car's interior clean. They ought to be tough, robust, and durable. And these are exactly the words we would use to describe this product.
In fact, some may even find them a tad too stiff. It isn't a drawback in and of itself, of course, but there's a real chance you'll have a hard time cutting the pieces to adjust the fit. The mats also weigh almost 4 kilograms but, again, that's more of an advantage as it is a testament to their tough composition.
The studded back and the weight will keep these items in place and prevent them from slipping. Made of rubber, they're easily washable, so the product isn't particularly demanding in terms of maintenance. The said rubber is also waterproof and the aforementioned tough composition won't just protect the floor of your car from dirt and moisture but also from different sources of physical damage.
In conclusion, Frontier CM107 are a bit more practical than most of the car mats in our review. It's not that much of a difference but the extra tough structure will make them a good choice for people who tend to put their cars in some of the more dangerous environments.

An Original Design
Rubber mats are good when it comes to protecting your car's floor but they do not look particularly good, do they? Of course, most people would argue that they're not supposed to look pretty, but we'd say it is always a plus. Cue JVL Contour, a product that combines polypropylene and textured rubber surface to give your car a touch of luxury.
Just like other car mats from JVL, their design excels at trapping the dirt and providing that ever so necessary grip under the foot. The non-slip backing is also present, so they won't move around the floor of your car. But, with those carpet inserts, the mats look far nicer than any of their rubber counterparts.
Of course, there's a disadvantage to it. The polypropylene surface is more prone to scratches than textured rubber. Plus, they're a bit more difficult to clean. But not that difficult. Just use a brush or a hose and let them dry naturally and thoroughly before you put them back in your trusty vehicle.
Despite the carpet inserts, the mats are just as waterproof as the rubber ones. Each of the 4 pieces adds up to convenient 68 cm x 40 centimetres in height and width. But if that's still too much for your car, the mats are easy to trim.
Again, if you're not a fan of those unappealing rubber chunks covering the floor of your car, you might want to give JVL Contour a shot. They require a bit more in terms of maintenance but the attractive and original design makes the extra effort worth it.
What Is a Car Mat?
A car mat is a quite simple yet indispensable accessory that should be present in any vehicle. A good set of floor mats not only serves as carpeting, saving you a need to hoover floors on a regular basis, but, believe it or not, can also add coziness and comfort to a car. That's, perhaps, why it's hard to imagine a vehicle today that would not have a car mat. Whether you've just bought yourself a new car or you want to replace old mats, this review provides only best deals you can find on the market.
Other accessories we'd recommend all drivers to buy are baby car seat covers if you've got kids, of course, and car vacuum cleaners that can greatly facilitate cleanups after family trips.
