Get Your Back into Better Shape

Strenuous work? Incorrect seating position? The Klarfit "Relax Zone" Inversion Table is a real lifesaver for those who often deal with a lot of strain. It's very good for stretching the spine and surrounding muscle groups. It also improves blood circulation and helps with nerve root pain. Just 5 minutes on this relax table will give you almost instant relief. The table is suitable for all ages, for almost any height (up to 200 cm) and any weight (up to 150 kg). It has a 20-stage height adjustment for leg support, and even if you're above-average height, the table will still feel ultimately stable. Also, the model is fitted with foot support with padded ankle fasteners for extra security.

The table has an adjustable nylon safety strap. If used with this safety strap, it gives you the maximum inversion of 180 degrees (160 degrees without the strap). The item features 3-position ball joint to let you control speed and rotation. For ultimate comfort, the table has 5-cm thick padding, vinyl side lining, and rubber-padded braces. So, inverse yourself and try to completely relax. Your back will quickly stretch out and everything will snap back into the correct alignment!

Assembly Tips

The Klarfit table takes a while to put together and actually requires extra help. It will take two people nearly two hours to assemble it. The table arrives in a large flat box with all main parts already assembled. Each component is securely-packed, so nothing serious will happen during shipping. All the fixtures (including supplied tools) arrive sealed in a clearly-labelled bubble pack. Every part has a letter and every fixture or bolt gets a number so that you can simply bolt the parts together with the right fixtures. However, the main instruction is somewhat lacking and is too brief. A cross member is shown with the bump stop to the front but many people confuse which side is which and often attach the rubber bump stop to the back. In order to make sure that you use the side supports on the correct sides and the bump stop really faces the front, you should line up the bump stop piece to both side supports before assembly.

Set up the strap to limit the table to near horizontal and then adjust the balance simply by moving the height adjustment pin. Once assembled, the table requires almost the same space as a single bed does. For more compact storage, the legs can be folded together. The table has a sturdy construction and requires a little care. Only a few hours of assembly, and you'll get a lasting relief for long years.

Total 180º Inversion

The Inversion Table Foldable Yatek ECO is the Amazon's Choice for a good reason. It can help you relieve your back pains, ease muscle contractions, boost blood circulation, stretch out your spine and muscles, lowers stress, improve sleep quality, and increase your energy. Not many inversion tables on the market provide a total inversion, but the Yatek ECO table does. Therefore, it releases muscle tension in a much more efficient way.

This is a good sturdy and strong unit that gives you confidence in its strength and ability to hold incredible weight. You can hang safely upside down on this board. The great news is that the table has extremely reliable foot locking device. Even at 180 degrees, it will securely hold your feet in place so that you have no feeling that you might fall or slide out. Thanks to the ergonomic side handles, you can switch positions quickly and easily. The table supports the max weight of 150 kg and can be adjusted in height from 130 cm to 195 cm.

So Easy to Use

The product comes well-packaged with assembly instructions in English. However, this guide is a bit vague for setup. It's better to use the picture on the packaging (or on the Internet) for reference points. The tools provided for assembly are also a bit flimsy. That's why, we suggest that you arm yourself with 13mm, 14mm and 17mm ring spanners and a screwdriver to make the job much easier. Orientating the parts using the picture and right tools, you'll be able to assemble the Yatek ECO table in about half an hour. The finished item is well-balanced, sturdy-built, easy to setup and easy to use. The table comes with a movable bar that you can fit in 4 positions. This bar gives you an opportunity to change angle settings (the top setting is about 10 degrees). If you remove the bar, you'll get a full inversion.

Yet, the best part is that it has a foldable design. The table is fully foldable, thus, it can significantly reduce the space required for its storage. So, if the free space is an issue for you, don't look further. Get the Yatek EL00803 inversion machine.

Start Inversion Therapy with Confidence

The Confidence Inversion Table can really give you confidence when hanging in an inverted manner. The machine is very sturdy, stable and well-constructed. The hanging angles can be adjusted to your preference very easily. You can quickly get the ideal stretch that will help you improve spinal health and target back pain. Once you get used to the procedure, your own experience will dictate the right angle and the length of time.

Inverted spinal decompression can help you rehydrate your discs, reduce nerve pressure, relax tense muscles, and realign the spine. However, these are not the only benefits this table can provide you with. It can also improve your joint health by altering the pressure within the joint and stimulating the synovial fluid that enhances shock absorption. The machine ensures a natural stretch that will gently elongate your muscles and decompress your joints, thereby, enhancing muscle efficiency and improving flexibility. And the crunches or sit-ups on the Confidence table is a great way to develop your core muscles and build core strength. So, start your way to the sexy and healthy body confidently with the Confidence Inversion machine!

Fantastic Tool

The manufacturer supplies the table promptly and well-packaged. The machine itself is very sturdy and easy to put together. However, keep in mind that this is a budget option, so it doesn't provide superior comfort. You might need a little extra padding for the backrest or ankle supports. Yet, it's a great piece of equipment that will really stretch your back. It works very well when it's set up exactly for your height (you should adjust the sliding footrest scale to your height and then tweak). You can gradually build up your time on this inversion table and increase the incline, but contrary to popular belief you won't go completely upside down like a bat on this machine.

The table suits everybody from 5' to 6' 6. It's pretty solid and can be folded away (but it is still a bit large) by unhooking the swivel unit. All in all, this affordable table is a great piece of equipment that is well worth every penny.

Gym Master!

The Gym Master folding inversion machine is a professional piece of fitness equipment that can be used both at home and in the gym. Although it's very reasonably-priced, it looks and works better if compared to other cheap inversions tables.

The table can hold a very respectable weight of 150 kg. It's suitable for anyone between 148 cm to 198 cm (the leg rest area can be easily customized to every height within this range). However, even if you're under 148 cm, you still can use this fitness equipment with extra help (another person should ease your legs up past the tipping point).

To provide users with additional comfort, the table features soft backrest with head support, padded ankle fasteners, and the rubber padded safety handles. Extra-long safety handles provide an easy return to an upright position, while inverted foam-dipped hand grips ensure maximum stretching. The table has a safety strap that allows you to limit the inversion angle, which is a nice touch if you are new to inversion. Those who are already confident with inversion can detach the strap to hang upside down completely. For extra safety, the table is equipped with the non-skid feet which keep it stable while you invert.

This table is a very good option if you are looking for a budget-friendly model. It's pretty basic, so it's a good choice for newcomers or gym goers. It's excellent for relaxation after a long running session. The best fitness inversion table!

Be Healthy with Gym Master Inversion Machine

The Gym Master table is durable and well-engineered. It's made of heavy duty oval tubing steel frame with a scratch-resistant powder-coated finish. It comes with all the bolts and nuts already put in the right places, not in a separate bag. All the contents of the package are secured with cable ties, and a small box with tiny parts is tied to the frame. So, no parts will be missing during transportation.

One of the most useful things about this inversion table is that it can fold away flattish for storage. The table folds down to an upright position and can be rested against a wall in the corner. If you want, you can detach the backrest area from the base to make it even more compact.

Besides providing the relief for your back, this machine does wonders for the improving posture, fighting cellulite, reducing hair loss, relieving varicose veins, and increasing oxygen to the brain. Give it a try and see for yourself.

What Is an Inversion Table?

Inversion table therapy helps people who have spine problems and those who spend a lot of time driving, doing seated activities, as well as people whose spines are subjected to a long-term static load. Inversion tables serve as an aid to heal spine curvatures, hernias and other back diseases. Inversion tables are used as professional and home inversion therapy equipment. Inversion tables are also used after physical exercises to restore and to relieve tension from muscles. It helps athletes and people who care about their health and posture. There are a lot of other benefits of inversion therapy. Inverting is one of the best ways to improve your overall health and start feeling more energetic. Keep on reading our review of the best inversion tables and take your pick.

If you do jogging for whatever reason but have no opportunity to go run in the street every time you want, pay attention to our other review on the treadmills.

What Features to Compare

Inversion table therapy strengthens muscular frame of the back and stimulates nervous system. While exercising on inversion tables, your blood gets saturated with oxygen, and your brain functions about 7% faster and about 14% more accurate. Exercising on an inversion therapy table or on an inversion chair stimulates circulation of blood and forces joint fluid. Choosing an inversion machine can be a challenging task, so let's see what to pay attention to.

Construction and the material of inversion tables are top important things to consider. Inversion tables can be of stationary or portable design. Stationary inversion tables have strong metal frame, intended for large weight and continuous use. Such inversion tables are mostly used in gyms and medical centers. Portable inversion tables suit well for home use, they won't take much space when folded and are as functional as stationary inversion tables. Inversion tables have metal frame, which makes the whole construction durable and robust. Backrest of inversion tables should preferably be made of ventilated plastic, yet most inversion tables have a wooden backrest with soft padding.

Safety and comfort are essential to pay attention to when you look for the best inversion tables. Inversion means hanging the body upside down, therefore important elements of inversion tables are fixing footrests and hand rails which ensure your safety and proper exercising. Ankles are fixed on inversion tables with special holders or a padded rod. In this position, joints of your back begin to stretch and it happens without any effort on your part. Body's weight is suspended from the lower body, and you feel relief. Joints get decompress, with the result that has a significant positive effect. The best inversion tables have wide quality leg fasteners making hanging more comfortable and you can hang longer without any discomfort, as the load is better distributed. With uncomfortable leg fasteners, you might feel pain and discomfort. Reliable fasteners enable you to train your abs by lifting the upper body. Handrails of inversion tables should be durable and made of non-slip material. And, of course, inversion tables should be stable and not slip, so look out for anti-skid pads on inversion board base.

Custom settings of inversion tables are also worth paying attention to. Setting inversion tables up for different body height should be simple, fast and reliable. The inclination angle is fixed a safety belt — the longer is the strap, the greater the inclination angle of the inversion table. So check the quality of a strap and its hooks. Inversion tables must withstand the declared maximum load weight, which influences their stability.

Did you know?

The Inversion Therapy Was Used Long Time Ago.

The archaeologists have discovered ancient stone seals (of 300 BC) showing the first drawings of yoga poses. These poses included inverted ones helping to re-balance the body, increase circulation, relieve pressure on the abdominal organs and stimulate the brain. Later, in 400 BC Hippocrates hoisted up his patients on a ladder with the ropes and pulleys, trying to stretch them and relieve their ailments. Speaking of the modern world, a California osteopath and medical doctor, Dr. Robert Martin, introduced the “Gravity Guidance System” in the 1960s. He addressed the effect of gravity on the human body and revealed its benefits. In the late 1970’s, he published his first book, which encouraged large companies to enter the inversion market with products like the BackSwing and the Bud Leach table.

Why do Athletes Invert After Workouts?

Besides many fantastic health benefits, workouts have one serious downside. Just like any physical activity, exercising puts a lot of stress on your muscles and makes your joints compressed. That's why it might take you so long to recover after an intensive workout! And if you spend just a few minutes on an inversion table after training, this will give your joints a chance to decompress so that the nourishment fluid fills in between joints and help you recover much quicker. Inversion therapy can also help you relax tense muscles.

Inversion Therapy Instead of Surgery?

Traditional medicine often prescribes surgery to treat back pain. However, the regular inversion therapy can help people live almost pain-free for long years without having to undergo surgery. The clinical research study conducted at Newcastle University confirms this point of view. The researchers have studied 22 patients suffering from sciatic nerve pain. Their physicians recommended each of them back surgery, but they first tried to undergo physical therapy. The patients were divided into two groups. The first group received physical therapy only, while the second group received both physical and inversion therapy.

The results showed fantastic results for the group that did the inversion therapy.

1. 78% of those patients who received just physical therapy still needed to undergo back surgery.

2. Only 23% of patients who did the inversion therapy were still prescribed back surgery.

So, the inversion therapy saved 77% of that group from painful back surgery.

Inversion Therapy Can Help the Body Push out the Kidney Stone Remnants

Sometimes after the extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy procedure (breaking up kidney stones into small pieces), kidney stone remnants still remain. In this situation, inversion therapy can help the body push out the stone fragments.

Inversion Therapy Boosts Creative Thinking

Using an inversion table actually causes the blood to flow more freely through your body, meaning your brain receives more oxygen. Many creative people say that inversion has boosted their divergent thinking and creativity.

Does Inverting Really Reduce Headaches?

Inversion therapy can really help to relieve headaches in several ways.

  • Realigning your spine reduces spasms in your neck and shoulder region that often lead to headaches.

  • Inverting can relax the muscles in your face, skull, and neck, thereby relieving tension headaches.

  • Inversion therapy decreases stress levels.

  • It increases your blood circulation and makes your lymphatic system work more efficiently to remove more toxins.

FAQ:

Q: How do inversion tables work?
A: Inversion tables use gravity to relieve the pressure on the spine. Hanging upside down or at any other angle when your head is lower than your feet will decompress your spine, relieving pressure and pain.

Q: What exercises can I do while inverted?
A: You can perform a lot of different exercises on an inversion table. Among them are:

  • You can do a partial inversion. For this, you need to cross your arm over your body and grip the opposite side of the inversion machine. This will help loosen your muscles and stretch mid- and lower spine. By gently rotating the head to either side, you can relieve stress in the neck.
  • Full inversion. Just put your hands on the chest and lift your torso trying to reach your knees.
  • Inverted sit-ups. One inverted sit-up will bring the same benefits as 10 regular sit-ups. To perform an inverted sit-up, extend your arms as possible trying to reach your feet and touch your toes.
  • You can exercise your legs by doing inverted squats. Steady yourself by placing your hands on the rear legs of the frame. Then bend your knees and lift the entire body up.
  • Added traction. Spread your hands forward and grab onto the crossbar of the frame. Then you should pull it gently to feel added traction to your lower back.

Q: How to start using an inversion machine?
A: Set the table to your height, then secure your ankles and relax. We recommend newbies to start with only 1-2 minutes during the first week. Then you can work up to longer periods. Typically, people invert for 5-15 minutes twice a day. However, note that the angle of inversion also affects the length of a session. The shallower the angle is, the longer the time is. Benefits for your health start at the angle of 20 degrees.

Q: What are the main benefits of inversion therapy?
A: An inversion table provides full-spine traction to help relieve mid and lower back pain. It decompresses the spine, treating pinched nerves and reducing the pressure on the discs. If you use an inversion table after working out, you stretch and elongate your muscles. Inversion therapy is particularly useful if you often have high-impact workouts.

According to the Natural Arthritis Relief website, it can also help flush lactic acid and other waste from the lymphatic system. Hanging upside down is very useful for circulation and organs as well. It can increase the flow of fluids and decongest the organs. And, of course, the inversion table can help you maintain the height by preventing spinal compression.

Q: Are there side effects of inversion therapy?
A: Compared to the benefits of inversion, side effects seem small, but still they exist. The inversion therapy can negatively affect people with heart disease, hypertension, Glaucoma, Pink Eye, Vertigo, inner ear infections, and some other health problems. So, we strongly recommend you to consult your doctor before starting an inversion therapy.

Q: To what degree can I invert?
A: Different people need a different angle of inversion. Newbies should start at a gentle angle of 20-30 degrees. At this angle, your body already begins to undergo mild stretching and your head receives more oxygen. A 60-degree angle provides your spine with the necessary amount of traction to let it completely decompress. The majority of people usually don't go beyond this angle. In full inversion (90 degrees), you hang completely upside down for the maximum stretching and increased circulation.

Q: Is it normal to feel pressure in my head and turn red while inverted?
A: Yes! This means that the blood flow to your brain, skin, eyes, and hair has increased. During full inversion, your brain will run 7% faster and 14% more accurately.
