The cartoon, collage, and laugh-out-loud effects will let kids create fun little movies without you helping them figure out the editing part. The intelligent auto-portrait mode will make sure that every photo comes out sharp and detailed.
The maximum video resolution is nothing to write home about.
With the VTech Kidizoom Duo, learning the professional photography ropes will become much more fun than it usually is. Despite its middling specs, this is a very functional camera, with generous audio/video effects, considerable 4X zoom, and decent embedded motion-based games.

The non-slip grips will keep the camera in kids' hands even when said hands are wet. The built-in rechargeable battery should last at least 4-5 hours (photography time). The photos and videos you take with this camera can be decorated with 5 colourful frames.
The screen has a low contrast ratio.
Though its appearance would suggest otherwise, the Victure KC400 is no toy. Sure, kids can play with it and have a lot of fun in the process. But calling something that takes 12-megapixel photos, shoots Full HD video, and employs 2 viewfinders a mere toy would be a 'bit' inaccurate.

The UI is not very user-friendly.
The Vatenick C16 hands with camcorders more so than with standard kids cameras. Thanks to its articulating screen, this device makes filming and observing the footage simultaneously an easy time. The neck strap offsets the model's bulky build, enabling comfortable transportation.

The built-in microphone is quite good at picking up voices and eliminating background noise. The internal memory will be enough to store 51 photos, whilst the MicroSD card slot, accepting 32-gigabyte MicroSD cards, will hold 300 minutes of Full HD video or 20,000 high-res photos.
The battery does not last.
The adorable rabbit/bunny that the Diswoe Kids Camera portrays adopts a shockproof housing, a protective silicone shell, and an image stabilisation lens. Courtesy of these attributes, kids can use the camera on the go without you worrying that they might drop and damage it.

Entertainment Powerhouse
The VTech Kidizoom Duo makes an interesting proposition. On the one hand, the camera's 5-megapixel maximum photo resolution and even less impressive 320 x 240p video resolution is nothing to parade, to say the least. On the other hand, kids rarely care about these specs/technical characteristics.
As far as little children are concerned, the more appealing part is the movie and voice recording effects that this device integrates. With these effects, kids can flex their creative muscles without your assistance. From what we've heard, the cartoon and collage effects are the tiny crowd's favourites, though the laugh-out-loud effects are quite intriguing as well.
Then, there's the auto-portrait feature that will automatically take photos and the 2 viewfinders. Using the latter, kids will be able to line up the image by eye without closing that eye beforehand. Besides these features, the camera includes coloured filters and its 4X zoom is something that kids cameras can seldom tout.
Long story short, between the several audio and video effects, the built-in games, and the double lens, the VTech Kidizoom Duo is an entertainment powerhouse. With it, kids can have fun, learn the photography ropes, and create timeless memories.
Kids Action Camera
The Victure KC400 looks like a toy, with its pink housing and little cartoon animals covering the front. Nevertheless, this is one capable device. Despite its silly appearance, the model's maximum photo resolution pushes 12 megapixels and the video resolution reaches more than respectable Full HD (1920 x 1080p) quality. In other words, this little camera can take crisp, high-detail photos and shoot sharp footage with precise image expression.
Setting these adult parameters aside, the model features burst, timer, and time-lapse photo effects. You can also decorate photos and videos with five colourful frames that this device comes equipped with. Incidentally, five is also the number of games that this model integrates. Playing these games, kids will be developing their little but already impressive mental faculties, building creative skills, and improving hand-eye coordination.
To add more, the camera incorporates a pretty reasonable anti-shaking feature but we don't like it quite as much as we like its overall build. Counting the shockproof housing, the non-slip grips, and the neck strap, kids can take the Victure KC400 outside and play as hard as they want/can without you worrying that the camera might meet an untimely demise.

6 Scene Options
The GlobalCrown Kids Camera avoids unnecessary complications, and we can appreciate its approach in this respect. To start with, even those kids that are a little slow on the uptake should have no trouble with the 2-inch LCD screen. Using this screen (and the controls to its right), children (even toddlers) can access automatic focus, 4 funny frames, 4 colour filters, the continuous shooting feature, and the timed photography options.
Apart from that, they'll also be able to use the photo and video modes that include 6 scene options and 4 shooting zooms. Borrowing a page from its competitors' book, the camera offers 5 integrated puzzle games. Playing these games, kids will improve their reaction time, develop critical thinking skills, and sharpen physical coordination.
You would not necessarily expect it but the camera also captures above-average photos (<8-megapixel) and records respectable video (1920 x 1080p). The only technical part that's lacking here is the audio. From where we're standing, it is passable at best, with noticeable clarity drops not helping its case at all. Still, when you take into account the puzzle games, the intuitive controls, and the brilliant photo and video modes, the GlobalCrown Kids Camera does not disappoint one bit.

Kids Camcorder
The Vatenick C16 follows adult camcorders' playbook, which is a pretty smart move, at least from what we can tell. As always, separating the screen from the camera's body, the camera lets you film stuff and observe it at the same time, which's always more comfortable on an articulating screen. We're not crazy about the UI though. It is accessible, sure, but the menu structure anything but intuitive, so it might take time for kids to get used to the camera's interface.
On the flip side, the model comes outfitted with a smile focus feature. As the name suggests, this feature will enable your little one to always capture the right moment on film. Likewise, the camera includes 10 filters and 15 photo stickers. Using these, otherwise mundane footage can be turned into a bundle of fun with a few clicks and very little effort involved.
Taking high-quality photos and videos will also take very little effort as the camera's Full HD (1920 x 1080p) native video resolution and 8-megapixel lens more than support that. In closing, even without covering the built-in games, the neck strap, and the zoom feature, the Vatenick C16 lands among the best children's camera or, low-ball estimation, the best camcorders for kids.

Trust the Bunny
The Diswoe Kids Camera is an adorable little gadget, no two ways about it. The eyes, the bunny ears, the speakers that look like whiskers, even the yellow lens cover that doubles as a nose, everything about it is delightful. The last thing you'd expect from this adorable-looking device is the 12-megapixel lens though. Nevertheless, it is there, letting kids snap gorgeous pictures. The video quality is not trailing behind as well, recording Full HD (1920 x 1080p) footage. What is trailing a little behind, however, is the battery life. We're not sure what its capacity is but, as far as we're aware, the battery seldom lasts above 90 minutes and takes somewhere between 4 and 5 hours to recharge, which is not great.
On the bright side, the same cannot be said about the 3 puzzle games that this camera integrates. In the same vein, there's nothing wrong with the 4X digital zoom, the time-lapse and continuous shooting features, and the dozens of built-in photo and video effects hiding inside this device.
Add to them the shockproof housing with a protective silicone shell and you have yourself a rugged kid's digital camera with excellent specs and a passable integrated microphone that's not too bad at reducing background noise.

What Is a Kids Camera?
Kids are creative little devils. As much as you can (and, at times, should) discipline them, more often than not, the best course of action is letting them unleash their bottomless energy supplies and put it to good use. That's where kids cameras come in. Using these cameras, children can take photos, record video, and edit them on the fly. In general, the cameras that we're discussing here come outfitted with several audio and video effects that kids can apply without learning complex editing software. But that (and the cameras' usually colourful appearance) is where differences between cameras for children and regular cameras end.
Just like traditional cameras, these devices are only as good as the maximum photo and video resolution that they support. As far as we're concerned, they're not complete without a decent digital zoom, time-lapse, and continuous shooting functions. Multiple viewfinders may be an overkill but what will not be an overkill is a shockproof housing that will protect the internal circuitry from kids' wrath. Also, 9 times out of 10, kids cameras implement multiple built-in games, making them entertainment powerhouses.
