What customers say about "Key Specs"
MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon Gaming Motherboard
- The installation of all components was easy and the installation of the CPU was no problem.
- With the motherboard you can quickly notice the good audio quality. Thanks to the included driver and the program Nahimic you have all the freedom to adjust the sound.
- 5 slot for fans on the motherboard it is possible to control them with software. I like this form factor.
- It's recommended. Well made. Clearly arranged and yet extensively equipped.
- Socket pins was partly bent. Processor holder/tensioner broken and wobbles only around.
MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge AC Gaming Motherboard
- I think it's a great board. I haven't done any overclocking since all the parts are so new, games all run great even without it so I haven't felt the need.
- It was a highly rated motherboard on pcpartpicker that had a LGA1151 socket, plus the cost to performance seemed to be pretty reasonable.
- I chose this board over others because it supported the new generation of intel chipset like the i5-9600k and I am very impressed by it so far.
- Runs perfectly with i9 9900k processor!
- Two of the four RAM sockets didn’t work. Now I have to run my system using socket 1 and 2, therefore, system is running with 16Megs of not optimized RAM.

What customers say about "Memory"
MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon Gaming Motherboard
- The motherboard also supports memory with a clock speed of over 2666 Hz.
- I plugged it with my working CPU, memory etc and it works amazing.
- Looks great and has quite a few really good features that you would usually only find on super high-end boards. I like DDR4 memory support.
- I like that I can use 4 slots for memory and also that the memory can reach 128GB.
- The motherboard had blown my power supply and ruined my DDR4 memory which are sensitive to short circuits.
MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge AC Gaming Motherboard
- Came with a manual that described all the plugins in detail. Actually helped me learn about some new parts like M.2 memory, and different lighting/fan options.
- The speeds for this board are beyond expectation, wow!
- I used this board with a i5-9600k and a Hyper 212 air cooler. I have corsair memory 3000mhz.. Everything is working fine.
- Memory slots have very bright Leads that can't be turned off!
- Im so frustrated. Its wont save bios settings what so every. so memory is stuck at 2133mhz. It refuses to do any of the 5 bios updates.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon Gaming Motherboard
- It has a DisplayPort output that allows output of 3840 x 2160 pixels @60 Hz, which makes it possible to save a graphics card in my case.
- Two NVMe SSDs can be powered simultaneously with PCIE 3.0 4x (32 Gbps), sacrificing only two out of six SATA ports.
- I like chipset side USB 3.1 Gen 2, which can also be directed to the front of the chassis via an internal connector.
- All important connections such as LAN, Sound, HDMI and Displayport, as well as a PS2 connector are available.
- I particularly like the number of available USB ports, only four USB 3.1 1x type C and two USB 2.0 on the back and again so many via front panel connectors.
MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge AC Gaming Motherboard
- All USB, audio, and PCIE ports are working great!
- Holds a 1070 with 3 fans on it without any sagging.
- Only using one long video card 1070 and it fits fine. M.2 slots not used but look very accessible.
- I would definitely recommend this board to anyone looking to get a fair priced z390 w/ lga 1151 socket.
- I'd rather see more usb ports instead of 2x ps/2 ports.

What customers say about "Features"
MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon Gaming Motherboard
- The M.2 Heatshield is well integrated into the design, so it does not look disturbing.
- The Mystic Light built into the motherboard gives the whole case a beautiful colour touch and makes something really nice, especially in transparent PC cases.
- The colors can be varied with a tool as you want, which I definitely find very good.
- The M.2 Heatshield cools my M.2 SSD wonderfully. However, you should be sure to remove the protective film from the thermal pad.
- With the PCIram slots equipped with Steel Armor, you can notice that they are very stable and secure the graphics cards etc. well.
MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Edge AC Gaming Motherboard
- I have been stress testing the cpu without an overclock and keeping an eye on the component temps. With good airflow no component got over 50 C with the only exception being the CPU of course.
- The BIOS makes sense and is easy to navigate in either mode.
- At the top of the RAM slots White LEDs tell you if your RAM is recognized, and a Red LED just to the right of those lets you know at a glance if you have XMP active. Seems cool!
- The BIOS is super clean and easy to navigate. It took me a matter of seconds to configure the system to what I wanted.
- It's not overly flashy for someone who doesn't like a lot of RBG.
- The only negative I have is the heatsink over the back panel is a tad big, and was a tight fit behind the rear fan in my case. It still fit though, so not a huge deal.
