What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Shure PG42-USB Side-Address Condenser Microphone
- Feels, looks and sounds very professional. Highly recommend!
- Just right sized mic. Easy to pick up a stand for it, and it's gonna rock.
- Great, solid construction. The mic is a bit heavy but it's for a good side.
- This mic is awesome. For me it's not even a bit heavy, just a little and light mic.
- It is quite heavy, so be sure to have a good counterweight.
Shure PG27-USB Side-Address Condenser Microphone
- The build quality is very high. Nothing cheap or plasticky about it. Unit are good heavy weight.
- Quite weighty (about 400 grams) and it's very comfortable to hold it.
- The appearance of the microphone is very normal, black, not heavy at all.
- My only complaint is that this Shure mike is too heavy for most goose-neck mike stands.
- The unit is too heavy. It is too bulky to hold in one's hand.

What customers say about "Features"
Shure PG42-USB Side-Address Condenser Microphone
- Love this mic. I have only tested the mic so, but so far would highly recommend this.
- Pleasantly surprised with the performance of this quality product!
- Outstanding quality, good performance at all frequencies, highly recommend.
- Didn't work with windows 10 so can't afford mic like a modern.
- It feels that it is an old product, compared to the latest USB microphones.
Shure PG27-USB Side-Address Condenser Microphone
- The sound from the PG27-USB is wonderfully full and warm. Your voice sounds natural and full, with just a little bit of bass added to it.
- The external "mic gain" control allows me to record even in poor audio conditions (like when people are talking outside my office).
- I am amazed by what it picks up. The light is useful to let you know roughly when you are in the clipping danger zone.
- Once it's set up this mic is as good as any studio mic you can find. I am impressed with direct monitoring feature.
- Frequencies up to 40 Hz (the lowest) are clearly distinct - this creates discomfort when listening to a recording. I would also like brighter "tops".
