Any Stove Will Do

Stove fans don't differ that much from each other. The CRSURE Fireplaces Stove Fan is pretty different though.

Most stove models aren't able to produce more airflow than ~250 CFM. The fan that we're reviewing here has no issues reaching 430 CFM. Of course, the difference stems from the model's double-head build. Equipped with 8 blades, the fan circulates 50% more warm air compared to traditional 4-blade fans, making the model the most effective and, at the same time, efficient way to heat any room from the stove.

As it is usually the case with these fans, the unit is completely self-powered. You won't have to worry about batteries/mains electricity expenses. In other words, the fan costs nothing to operate.

The only issue we have with the model's operation is these whirring sounds that the fan makes during use. They're barely audible though since the fan never goes above 25 decibels. Other than that, its anodised aluminium body is rustproof and wear-resistant, so you shouldn't have any problems with the fan in the long run.

In short, the CRSURE Fireplaces Stove Fan is as good as these things get. The model will prove the best partner for your stove. You can put the fan onto any log burner, fireplace, wood, multifuel, gas, or pellet stove. The complimentary stove thermometer is as accurate and reliable as they come.

Tough yet Sleek Aluminium

The VonHaus 4-Blade Stove Fan starts with its somehow rustic yet, at the same time, sleek profile, with smooth and polished fans but rough, sanded-looking base. We are not talking about anything that different from most stove fans but there's something about its finish, something understated, subtle, and attractive. What's also attractive about this unit is the increased size, measuring 22.5 (height) x 19 (length) x 9 (width) centimetres to make maximum impact.

Besides that, the model's more than comparable to most fans we've reviewed here. You have the standard temperature gauge that allows you to monitor and optimise the stove's efficiency to prevent overheating. Its operating temperature ranges from 50 to 350 degrees Celcius, standard numbers except that, more often than not, the unit does not start working before the stove reaches ~70 degrees, which's unfortunate but not too concerning.

The fan regulates the speed without any assistance from you, circulating somewhere between 160 and 190 CFM, good enough to keep small rooms nice and warm but not much more than that.

Bottom line, the VonHaus 4-Blade Stove Fan is quiet, robust, and quite attractive. Add the comfortable carry handle to the mix and you can easily recommend this product to most customers with fireplaces and wood/log burners inside small and medium-sized rooms.

Covering Sizable Rooms

The LUCKYDA Upgrade 4-Blade Heat-Powered Fan is not the biggest upgrade we've seen before, so we'd say that the product could use a different name. We're not saying that this is a bad stove fan though, not at all. We can even make the opposite claim. Sure, the fan is a little noisy, not the loudest specimen out there but not even approaching "silent" either, despite the company claiming "whisper-quiet" operation. However, we can back up the claim that the fan's construction is made from high-strength anodised aluminium, which means that the housing will not start forming rust patches or corroding eventually. We can also back up the claim that the unit does not require installation and can work right from the box.

There's nothing especially impressive about its inbuilt protection system that prevents the fan from overheating and nothing that interesting about the handle that this model comes adopting. But the same sentiment cannot be extended towards its operation reaching 200 CFM and covering rooms that measure at least ~25-30 square metres.

Long story short, as long as you're fine with this fan being a little noisy, there's very little chance that this heat-powered unit will leave you wanting more.

A Silent Guardian

The Tomersun 3-Blade Heat-Powered Stove Fan is excellent in some ways but also a little insufficient in others.

Pertaining to the former part, with its unique construction, the fan is practically silent. You can even fall asleep next to the stove with this fan operating in the background, let alone watch TV without worrying that its blades might disturb you. What's also attractive about this product is its size. Measuring just 17 x 10 x 22 centimetres, this is the most compact stove fan we've seen yet. Needless to say, even stoves with different items like pictures, vases, and such on them should be able to accommodate this fan without making considerable space sacrifices.

As for the "insufficient" part, for starters, the paintwork is shoddy, so the housing might start losing its sleek all-black appearance with time. Other than that, its performance peaks at 150 CFM, which means that the fan will not be able to maintain large rooms.

Still, keeping in mind the price, size, and its almost silent operation, the Tomersun 3-Blade Heat-Powered Stove Fan is something that we can easily recommend people with stoves in a medium-sized room that want to make the room cosier without using an AC or a heater.

Immune Against Elements

There's rarely enough difference appearance-wise between these fans to justify addressing that, let alone starting the review on this note. That said, the Tomersun Stove Fan looks good enough to do just that. Its shiny black finish, slim stand, interesting blades, and streamlined construction make the fan look modern and elegant.

Constructed from anodised aluminium, the fan is basically immune against rust and corrosion. The housing won't start deforming or discolouring no matter what. At the same time, the anodised aluminium construction makes the fan resistant to high temperatures.

The model will have no issues with temperatures ranging from 55 to 350 degrees Celsius. The only problem here is that 55 degrees Celsius usually won't be enough to activate the fan, so you'll have to wait before the temperature inside the stove reaches ~70 degrees.

Also, the bi-metallic safety device will make sure to elevate the fan's front to protect the centre module and the motor from overheating when the stove surface's temperature rises above ~350 degrees. Besides that, the fan's really compact, measuring 8.3 x 6.3 x 3.6 inches or 16 x 12 x 21 centimetres.

Bottom line, the Tomersun Stove Fan will effectively and efficiently disperse the heat around the room. Plus, the handle will help with transportation.

What Are Stove Fans?

There's nothing quite like a stove when it comes to improving the atmosphere and the overall vibe in the sitting room. That said, despite the fact that they were originally designed for this very purpose, stoves aren't always quite as effective in terms of even heat distribution. But, with a stove fan, you will easily be able to fix this unfortunate flaw of theirs. As you might have already figured out on your own, a fan like that is a simple tool that is used to distribute the warm air generated by a stove to the surrounding area. Despite their often small size, these little machines are capable of making a pretty sizable room much warmer, with some help from the fireplace, of course. They don't differ that much from each other but you might want to pay attention to the model's CFM numbers as those will display the force of the airflow and to the operating temperatures, and the latter, in turn, will determine what kind of temperature your stove fan will be able to handle.

Now, even though a fan is a fan, there are a few things that make these specific fans suitable for this specific purpose. So if you want more of a general-purpose fan, we would recommend our reviews of ceiling fans and misting fans.
