- I cannot believe my ears! The quality and volume of sound from these small speakers is tremendous.
- They have the presece if a tower speaker in a compact design.
- If you need a fairly inexpensive small speaker, you can't go wrong with these.
- Expecting a small size book shelf size speaker but these are more like a Hummer size bookshelf. Just my initial impression. The weight is fairly substantial.
- These are big for bookshelf speaker due to moving the port to the front. They look great on a stand, but are potentially are a fall hazard in a home with small children.
- Sound is awesome, bass is solid and I would happily recommend these little beauties.
- Big sound from a well built little box. Decent base response with front port.
- The bass is incredible this are small bookshelf speakers I just can't believe it.
- The bass response is incredible for the relatively small speaker size, and there is great clarity across the sound spectrum.
- These small, ported speakers sound better than they have any right to sound, given their low price.
- Mids are so clear, higs are just right, not to bring, not muffle. Bass is satisfying, soft and power full for their size.
- I am driving these with an SMSL AD18. Since the first moment I turned them on I was impressed by the sound quality.
- Bass response is just great, especially for their size, mid range is clear and flat and hi frequencies are very clear but not too bright to become fatiguing!
- Very recommended for any kind of music, particularly rock and metal. Amazing value!
- A couple of weeks to break in. Very well balanced in both lows and highs. These punch way above their weight.
- Sounds is exactly as expected - very clear quality and plenty of volume.
- I don't listen at high levels but do play video games where surround sound can be critical and, with the right level adjustments for distance from listening position, these speakers do their job perfectly.
- The overall response of the speakers is quite adequate with nice clean bass.
- The balance in the sound was unbelievable. No overwhelming base or treble. Just awesome surround and sound presence.
- They sound incredible and best the JBL 2500's I replaced them with by a mile! The value for the money is huge!
- Bass refleks port is at the front so you can put them close to a wall.
- These very modestly priced stand-mounted speakers are recognized as giving a sonic performance way higher than their price suggests.
- Built like a brick, these things are heavy!! Well put together with quality materials...even the wire ports on the back are super high quality.
- Looks absolutely spectacular without the grill. Nice, full sound. Lots of bass kick.
- These speakers look great, are built great, and sound great! These speakers have a heft to them, constructed very sturdy.
- Build quality is really solid and packaging by Amazon was reassuring. Came to me without so much as a particle of dust. Would highly recommend for smaller spaces, apartments, or starter speakers.
- The tweeter design is very mellow which means you can listen to music for hours without your ears getting fatigued from to much bright sounds.
- The ELACs look a lot better in the flesh than in marketing/catalogue images and I like the old school look.
- Build on these is solid and they "feel" like speakers far out of their price range.
- Build quality is very good, quite hefty for their size/price. Fit and finish could be better.
