- This is an amazing product for its size.
- Due to the size, it cannot drop down real low, but unless your building an SPL setup it won't matter.
- The diminutive dimensions make sure that this can be mounted under most car seats.
- Holding it in your hand, you know it is a piece of solid engineering, perfet size for my car!
- The build quality is nothing short of awesome, but big size.
- I was looking for something to fill out the lower end sound in my 95 Nissan Hardbody, and it's perfect size for car.
- This unit was perfect size to fit under front passenger seat.
- Fits under the seat like a glove. It sounds OK for its size but I wish it a bit more powerful.
- I bought that particular subwoofer because of its small size.
- The great advantage of this device is its small and compact size, making it possible for you not to have to sacrifice cargo.
- The entire system is active and sounds blissful.
- This thing is rock solid! Hard hitting bass that is sure to bring a smile. I love how full the music sounds now.
- My rear components run at 2db over my fronts which sounds great once the TA has been set correctly.
- It really transforms the sound it grooves like anything its really really punchy but still dsnt crack or loose the tightness it has.
- Oh and, point to note - The sub will not work with the remote disconnected.
- Overall, I am very pleased with the sound quality of this unit.
- When I powered it up for the first time I was pretty impressed at how much sound it adds.
- It sounds so much more complete now and the low frequency response is very very impressive for such a small package.
- It sounds amazing! The bass response is quick, punchy, and you can feel the vibrations in your chest.
- It sounds great, but does not hold up to heavy bass or rock music, or maybe it was the cold weather. Buy something else!
- Wired Remote with LPF, Phase and Gain control, thats comfortable.
- By bumping up the gain on the amp remote or amping the signal via HU, I can get the bass. that's what i need.
- Remote activation cable have a long length.
- It shuts off with the remote pulled, i really don't know why.
- ON but remote kit light is not glowing and there is no playback at all.
- I’m using the remote bass control knob which is definitely needed from song to song. I installed it behind the rear right passenger seatback.
- I'm very impressed with the clarity and customization of the low frequency cutoff and gain remote control.
- I plugged in the Alpine remote level control as well, so thats working nice.
- The bass is very tight and controlled (at 50% of max). It probably only needs to set to 33% to really match the speakers.
- Only thing I did not like about it is the remote gain control, seems to do absolutely nothing until you hit about 4 clicks from max.
- It was a simple RCA connection to the amp outputs and remote-on wire to have all the bass I need.
- Connected everything up for a power-on test to make sure everything works. PASS!
- It really is an easy install, but assuming you don't have knowledge of system installs, I would suggest taking your time.
- It doesn't work with hi pass you can splice an av cable to connect to your car speaker wire and that worked with mine.
- I did have to buy some more materials like an amp kit and some shrink wrap and t-taps to make the wire connections, along with an aux cable.
- It comes with a harness that plugs into the built-in amplifier, where you will connect your power, ground, remote, etc. and it's working.
- I used 8 gauge from the battery to the amp, and had to buy a wire splice to connect it to the harness, perfect sound.
- Folding down the seat gives easy access to make connections and adjustments, don't forget this guys.
- I like the Alpine has an in-line fuse, multiple connection options (RCA or tapping the speakers), and an inline volume remote.
- Then we connected to the remote-on wire (blue/white) of the head unit, plugged in the RCA connections and voila...NOTHING! No power light.
