The TX and RX units come equipped with LED indicators that display the devices' status. The versatile mounting brackets let you install them practically anywhere. The package supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master, and LPCM 2.1/5.1/7.1CH.
Both devices get pretty hot during prolonged use.
The AV Access 4KEX70-L supports 4K throughput and different surround system audio systems, receiving and transmitting ultra-high-definition visuals and matching them with deep, rich, and dynamic sound. Plus, both devices are pretty slim and the setup is easy to install.

AV Access (4KEX70-L)
Supporting 4K Video
The AV Access 4KEX70-L is the one package on this list that supports Ultra HD throughput (3840 x 2160p, also known as 4K). Since that's the case, this product already towers above its competition peaking at Full HD. Even more than that, both devices ensure no signal loss or delay, receiving and transmitting uncompressed video.
On the audio front, the package matches its impressive visual performance, supporting Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master, and LPCM 2.1/5.1/7.1CH. In doing so, both the transmitter and the receiver can work with AV receivers, home cinema systems, different speakers, amplifiers, and more.
Adding to its advantages, the setup also supports bi-directional PoE, which means that you need but one power supply at the TX or RX (transmitter or receiver respectively) side for hassle-free installation. Likewise, the unit also enables bi-directional IR and RS232 signal transmission.
The one problem we have here is that both devices get pretty hot during prolonged use, so an occasional pause will be required. Barring that, the AV Access 4KEX70-L matches stunning Ultra HD video throughput with high-fidelity audio support, fitting workshops, classrooms, seminars, conference rooms, and gaming applications.
MYPIN (PC000120)
120 Metres of Transmission Range
The MYPIN PC000120 is an HDMI extender setup that converts an HDMI signal into standard TCP/IP, transmitting the signal via a CAT5e/6 cable or LAN. With this setup, you can transmit an HDMI signal source from DVD, PS3, HDMI display cards, and more, sending the signal towards HD projectors, DLP, LCD, and LED models, different screens, etc.
There's nothing impressive about this extender setup maxing out at Full HD (1920 x 1080p) but the support of 36-bit deep colour, lip-sync tools, and multichannel audio formats deserves some recognition, especially since the latter group includes Dolby Digital, Digital Plus, and 7.1 LPCM. But we're also not giving this unit a full credit here due to the lack of support for Dolby Atmos. On the upside, the unit supports point-to-point, one-point-to-many, and cascade connection modes.
But what steals the show here is the transmission range. Generally speaking, HDMI extenders usually cap at ~50 metres. This one, however, stretches 120 metres, which is pretty ridiculous. To top it all off, both the TX and the RX unit come armed with large ventilation holes, ensuring excellent heat dissipation and preventing the system from overheating. There's also an overheat protection switch, making the MYPIN PC000120 the extender to last.

PWAY (PW-HT2020P)
Automatic Adjustment System
The PWAY PW-HT2020P is pretty simple. The unit supports Full HD (1920 x 1080p) transmission as well as 3D signal transmission. Besides that, the extender also ensures lossless audio transmission. You can use and sustain both devices from one power source, which will prove suitable in scenarios where only one socket is available. The people behind this product claim that the transmission range can reach 50 metres but, even assuming you use a high-quality CAT6 cable, chances are, the range will cap at ~45 metres, which is decent but a little disappointing nonetheless.
What's not disappointing is the integrated automatic adjustment system, making the image smooth, improving its clarity, and ensuring throughput stability. What's also not disappointing is the respectable cutouts on the sides (both TX and RX) aiding heat dissipation and making sure the unit does not overheat even during prolonged use.
Last but not necessarily least (although you can make that argument), both devices measure 14 x 10.8 x 6.4 centimetres and, together, weigh 380 grammes, enabling hassle-free relocation and pretty effortless storage as well. So, as long as you don't mind the middling transmission range, there's no reason for you to overpay for anything more expensive than this HDMI extender.

eSynic (zHE006)
24K Gold-Plated Connectors
This setup from eSynic is a little more rugged than most HDMI extenders. On the one hand, we can appreciate both units being less fragile than the competition, but we do not necessarily fancy the mounting brackets being as tiresome to install as they are. We do, however, fancy the 24K gold-plated HDMI connectors that will not start presenting signal loss issues down the road. You can use these connection interfaces on the TX and RX as much as you need - the unit will remain stable.
At ~7.1 x 6.5 x 2.5 centimetres, the devices' size has been minimised, making them much more space-saving than before. To add more, reducing the unit's size, they have also been able to reduce its energy consumption, which will be noticeable in 24/7 use applications. Now, despite the compact size, the entire unit also weighs almost 500 grammes, but that's an inevitable sacrifice when you make these devices more rugged and durable.
Finally, the unit offers IR extender Support. With this function, you can control HDMI video sources from a remote location using the provided IR cables. Using this approach, you can forward commands over a dedicated DDC channel, making the setup not just convenient but also secure.

Neoteck NTK037-V
Supporting EDID Learning
The Neoteck NTK037-V looks a little more handsome than 9/10 HDMI extenders. But we do not award points based on aesthetics, not where these units are concerned anyway. We can, however, award points based on the provided hardware. In this case, all the hardware that you need to mount the TX and RX onto walls comes with the package and does not present installation challenges, so credit where credit is due. Where credit isn't due though is with the unit sometimes dropping out the signal with prolonged inactivity periods.
The good news is that the unit also comes with LED indicators, displaying the working status from a distance. The second piece of good news is that, not unlike its peers, this HDMI extender can utilise both devices from one power supply, so you won't be occupying multiple mains sockets.
Supporting EDID learning, the unit is compatible with most displays. Other than that, the unit incorporates an integrated IR function. Using the provided cables, you can control DVD players or different HDMI video sources from up to 60 metres.
So, from digital signage in commercial areas to conference rooms to schools to houses of worship, the Neoteck NTK037-V can accommodate them all, ensuring a stable lossless HDMI signal.

What Is an HDMI Extender?
To transmit a picture from DVD, Blu-ray, or any other player, you need to connect the said device to your TV set. To do so, you may use different kinds of cables, including composite ones for audio and video, or S-Video cables. However, they tend to transmit the signal in an analogue format. This may lead to a significant quality drop, so even if you have a high-end TV, you may not be able to enjoy a decent picture.
To avoid that, it is better to use an HDMI cable and HDMI extender. This unit consists of 2 devices (receiver and transmitter) that transfer the file in a digital format and save its initial quality. These devices offer various interfaces with a number of different ports. Some models are compatible with TVs only, but there are also extenders that can be connected to a couple of separate displays at once. Moreover, these devices can help you solve the problem with annoying wires lying on the floors. Such devices may be mounted onto walls with all the wires fixated on them, so they won’t be in your way.
Of course, this is what HDMI switches already do. The difference between these extenders and adapters is that extenders can put a considerable (at least 50 metres, sometimes more than 100) between the media source and the screen, enabling digital signage.
