- Mid-range is extensive, full, present-forward and absolutely intoxicating Treble is exactly where it needs to be.. Sparkly but never fatiguing.
- It`s the best so far for pop music, the sound is rich and well balanced, I just wanna listen to every song I have for once more.
- The Z1R to me has a wonderful warm resonance that does sound aggressive, but is still uncannily real. It's a unique sound that you will not find with any other headphones.
- Incredible sound. I can hear my musics the way I wasn't able before. I can hear instruments, voices, record noises I never know was there.
- The sound is simply amazing, crisp with just enough bass and plenty power to damage ones ears.
- The sound is very sculpted with an emphasis on mid bass. Sub-bass is limited and treble is very rolled off.
- Their sound is buttery smooth. Incredible low-end and sub bass. The imaging is fantastic.
- Clean high-end , clean bass clean vocals and the best looking headphones ever made .
- Outstanding sound. Awesome headphone. Probably the best closed headphone ine the world.
- Sonically, the headphones are quite rounded in the bass (low frequency), mid and treble (high frequency) regions.
- Everything is clear, really good clean bass and good soundstage for a closed back.
- Adjustment and comfort during use is excellent.
- They are very comfortable, despite their large size.
- Build quality is perfect. The most comfortable closed back headphone I've ever worn by leagues and bounds. Isolation is very good.
- Earcups are just too big and bulky, love the sound but I couldn't relax in my recliner chair to enjoy because the cups won't let me to tilt my head.
- A little heavy but the build quality is top notch. Really happy with purchased so far.
- Visually, the headphones are quite stunning. They have a beautiful look and solid feel.
- These headphones are relatively heavy. Which is fine but the headband's weight distribution is poor.
- The quality of the materials used for the headphones and storage box are first class.
- They've got a superb build quality, very durable and they are very nice looking headphones! I'm really impressed by these cans!
- It's very involving with a wide and tall soundstage, rich textural mids and vocals and great bass and sub-bass extension, when called for.
- Absolutely incredible. The build quality is truly superb. These headphones are built to last
- Top quality, top sound. Work perfectly with a simple smartphone or computer but it's so better with a good headphone amp.
- The XC being “second to none” with regard to the musical experience in closed-back planar designs. I like the wood – but that’s taste! GREAT job.
- Probably the best closed earpiece headphones available right now. Very good bass, very linear frequency response. Excellent clarity. Good sound stage.
