There is a need for microATX, but I've always preferred the old reliable ATX formfactor.
This has been the easiest ATX build I've had.
I purchased this to have a full ATX motherboard with lots of options.
The BIOS is very explicit and easy to use, which I like.
I HIGHLY recommend this board. Good form factor.

Gigabyte X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING ATX Motherboard

Mounted with a R7 2700x and 16gb of corsair vengeance, I have no problems with operation.
Sober, very good quality, chipset x470, that makes it a very good base for a big configuration!
All the components are now running without issue on an Asus X470 board, that clocks higher with lower voltage on both CPU and DRAM.
Bought this for a new Ryzen build (2700x) and it worked out of the box perfectly. And the rgb Fusion app to change the led's is cool too!
No display, keyboard not responding then CPU fan decides to start and stop and go slow and repeat.

I'm using this with a Ryzen 2700 and 32 GB of ram. Good memory speed.
Also very useful I've found, the board will overclock your memory for you.
Makes memory overclocking very easy.
CPU and memory were discovered and set to rated speed right out of the box.
Memory compatibility is good as well and the board does its job.

This motherboard will run DDR4 memory over 3600 speed, which is why I bought it.
I like that this motherboard supports excellent speed for memory.
It turned out to easily overclock the memory to the advertised speed.
If you're using fast RAM, which is essential for Ryzen, your memory will require 1.35V and will randomly crash when fed the lower voltage.
Descent motherboard. Not for overclocking. I can't get my RAM stable over 3033.

There's a good variety of slots and they all connect well.
Great motherboard so far! It has all the USB 3.0 ports and fan connections.
It has all the connections I needed for my build and looks great inside the case.
It is a great motherboard easy to hook up Easy Connect lots of space for everything I needed.
Only downside is that a pci graphics card connected to able to work even it has hdmi without graphics card won't work.

The possibility of installing SSDs in the M2 format is also a big plus and the board is not poorly loaded at the back connectors.
The board brings good specifications for its price, multitude of connections usb, rgb, sata, m2 etc.
There is a connector strip on the motherboard where you can plug the entire front ports.
The board is lovely - Plenty of headers for fans, RGB, sata/M2 devices.
It's a beast with all the connectivity you want, good audio onboard sound card, top cooling for VRM and very good overclocking capabilities and fancy looking.

It has the basic feature set (USB 3.1 gen 1 front-panel connectors, decent audio).
Features are documented and the built-in memory profiles make overclocking your memory quite easy.
Many Features not found on other-even more expensive boards.
RGB LED lights on board, plus red lights showing memory.
If you're looking for features like USB-C, wireless, more than 6 SATA connectors, or something else, it may be a good idea to look elsewhere.

The assembly is very simple, nothing new on this side and the Gigabyte logo illuminates in yellow/orange, it gives a small RGB side without any abuse.
RGB LEDs on the motherboard, are spot on for brightness, you will not be needing sunglasses to look at your PC!
The LEDs are very bright, so bare that in mind if you are a fan of RGB.
I was pretty impressed with this motherboard when I purchased it for my new build. Great performance.
The problem is that the software does not accompanies at all.
