- Excellent machine, runs very well and sews brilliantly. Easy to choose stitches and there are so many to choose from, no chance of getting bored.
- Stitches are well formed, it's a quiet machine, this came with everything I needed accessories and so far, everything works as promised.
- The different stitches are kinda overwhelming but I think they will be great.
- Love my Janome Horizon with all the extra parts! Beautiful stitches! Extension table is wonderful, and since it's see-thru it's a perfect spot to put my quilt pattern.
- The speed is very small, not as described by the manufacturer. Very upset by this. Expected more.
- Everything I do on this machine comes out really nice. I have made quilts of various sizes, table runners, wall hangings, and clothing. I love this machine.
- I love LOVE my 9400. The 11 inch throat is just wonderful. It sew so quiet. The retractable light and additional light create a well lit area for me so sew in low light conditions.
- I have had my 9400 for a little over a year, bought it when it was first available. It is a wonderful machine. I have quilted 6 quilts on it doing both stitch in ditch and free motion.
- I bought the Janome 9400QCP in August of 2016 and it is a pleasure to sew with. I love the extra lights and it lets you know when the bobbin is getting low and lots of stitches.
- I've had the machine for a month now. Straight stitching it worked perfectly. Decorative stitches was a problem. The stitches weren't balanced. It took a lot of adjusting to get it almost right.
- This is a fantastic mid-arm (not regular sized or longarm but in between) perfect for quilters!
- Love the built in needle threader, the way I can adjust both thread tension and foot tension, lots of light, push button thread cutter, etc.
- The covers are beautiful and the extension table is impressive!
- The 11" throat is wonderful, and the knee lift, and thread cutter are features my old machine didn't have and are features I don't want to be without.
- My only complaint is that you need an add on spool holder for very large spools of thread. The 6600 had this built in.
- The large work surface is great. I have made one quilt since the purchase.
- The straight stitch foot and plate sew a beautiful seam. As of yet I can't find anything to say negative.
- I have had this machine little over 4 months. Love it, with all the stitches and the wide work space it is my dream machine.
- I love this machine. Some of my favorite things about it are the extra lights, the 11 inch throat, the HP foot and plate, and the ease of use.
- I love my Janome 9400!!. I have had this machine for almost 1 year and it sews like a dream. I mostly make quilts and the large work area is wonderful.
