This machine comes with the ability to adjust to 23 stitch patterns in various widths and lengths.
I'm a novice sewer/seamstress getting back into sewing and needed an easy-to-use sewing machine that would cover all my sewing needs: art, clothing, crafts, home decor, etc.
I have loved every minute with this machine, and it has worked perfectly with every material I have run through it (denim, cotton, linen, paper, cardstock, jersey, and a few other fabrics).
I bought one with a decent selection of stitches but not too many bells n whistles. Perfect.
Tension not always perfect. The stitch length changes with speed. Limited stitch variety. A nice basic machine.

This machine is amazing for beginners, it has a reliable build and operates at a decent speed.
This sewing machine has two speeds, Nah, and YeeHa! Over all though I am very happy with this sewing machine.
Ive never sewn before but I was able to figure it out and and start sewing in about 20 mins and I sewed for the rest of the night with no issues. Very happy! Thank you Singer!
This machine basically does all of the stitches I need to make my doll clothes. And it was inexpensive.
For basic sewing and a few decorative stitches, it is great. Don’t know if would do very well with heavy fabric. Set up and use instructions were easy to follow.

The screwdriver needed to change accessories and make adjustments is included, as are a darning plate and a quilting or edge guide.
The moving parts on this Singer model are made metal. I believe it. Although it is tad smaller than my current White machine, it is as heavy.
My favorite thing about this machine is the front-loading metal bobbin because I don't care for the top drop in ones.
Thread and stitch adjustments include everything the average casual seamstress would want. Setup is easy, operation is easy.
The only drawback to the Singer is the casing is plastic, but I'm ok with it as long as it works.

Every feature that I paid for works and the machine is also compatible with a wide variety of feet adapted for low shank machines.
I love this sewing machine. it is lightweight but can handle a variety of fabrics.
It is quiet and fast, and has quite a few stitching patterns to choose from. A great machine.
I was looking for something fairly simple that will last. It’s easy to thread and has great stitch options.
My criticisms would be that the bobbin jams often. And it has an older type of bobbin system and is a bit cumbersome to load.
