- I like that the screen is very sharp and vibrant with decent brightness.
- The screen and camera are far better than previous generations whilst the processor and memory allow most activity to happen quickly.
- Display is clear, videos and music work beautifully.
- No notification LED - although the phone has a feature called Moto Display. If you nudge the phone it shows icons if you have a new mail, text, Facebook notification etc.
- This screen will most likely scratch up pretty easily without any protection and I really miss the toughened glass from my old XT910.
- The display is excellent, very clear (1080p)!
- The display is superb with great viewing angles, the sound is great (rich, clear & surprisingly loud) & the photos/videos are excellent.
- It's very responsive and the display is good quality, leading to great experience overall.
- The Camera is great and the screen bright with good resolution.
- I love this Phone, slim, big screen and easy to use. Performing very well so far.
- It's actually pretty quick for a cheap phone and manages most the apps I use rather well.
- The 3GB of RAM and processor easily handle most functions anyone would need.
- Performance is really quick with its Octa-core processor. I guess anything is quicker than my all quad-core.
- This processor cannot handle the apps people want to use now, twitter frequently stops, the camera app is terrible taking an age to take a picture, it simply isn't up to the tasks we ask of a phone nowadays.
- The processor is much lower tech than G4, which is just weird. Graphically intense games stutter and struggle.
- The processor is more than adequate, everything seems to load very quick!
- I previously used an earlier version of this phone which I was pleased with and the G5S is a step up in all respects - look, feel and speed of response.
- It works with speed and opens apps in time.
- his is every bit as good at a fraction of the price. Plenty of storage and very fast.
- Performance is fast & smooth (with no glitches or stutters), the display is superb with great viewing angles.
- The camera isn't good but does a decent job in good lighting.
- Both cameras deliver obviously improved results over those in my old G4 and are pretty reasonable although in low light they are a bit grainier as you'd expect.
- Camera seems OK but I've used it enough to gauge its ability in different conditions yet.
- With good lighting, the camera takes high-quality photos. I like the way she takes pictures.
- Camera struggles under lower light and for the 'sharp eyed' can't match the bigger budget smartphones.
- The sound is great (rich, clear & surprisingly loud) & the photos/videos are excellent.
- The Camera is great and the screen bright with good resolution.
- It has a great camera, battery life and resolution.
- Camera superb in good light, tho colours could be more vivid.
- The only thing that disappoints is the camera which is still a bit lacking compared to more expensive mobiles.
- The built in fingerprint reader is a huge improvement in terms of fast access to the phone.
- You now get a rapid charger in the box and you’ll get around 80% of full charge from flat in around 40 mins.
- Android 7 is pretty nice and lean - using the OS is a pleasant and smooth experience and it's not cluttered with loads of bundled apps or skins from the manufacturer or their 'partners'.
- Very good phone for the money - great features like twisting and chopping for camera and torch, re-wiring the fingerprint sensor to open the app drawer and back buttons.
- No NFC – to me this is the only significant disappointment in the spec of the G5.
- ! The actual phone itself is fully metal, feels great and very high quality.
- There's a solid finger print sensor which coming for an iPhone seems pretty mandatory but at this price point very impressive, it is fast and quick to set up.
- It's faster than my previous phone and I love the fingerprint security feature.
- Good fingerprint recognition. Great build quality. Just buy one the value for money is obscene!
- It's well made, full metal casing is nice. Camera is decent, fingerprint scanner is good and a nice selling point.
- The battery lasts for a day even with pretty heavy usage.
- Battery life is noticeably better plus the battery is removable which should extend the life of the phone. I get a couple days use from a full charge but I'm a light user.
- Excellent battery life - I easily get 2-3 days if not using it excessively!
- I liked that the kit included Fast Turbo charger - really is quick.
- The battery life, although fast charging, is no where near as good as my previous Samsung J5.
- The battery life is very long, by the end of the day with regular use I finish at about 60%, so it lasts well over a day which is brilliant.
- Battery life is superb once you turn off all the google location stuff that's on by default (unnecessary), I can get 36 hours of use easily with medium use, only takes an hour to charge with turbo boost.
- Excellent phone with great battery life. Very good value. Who needs an iPhone!?
- The battery is more than acceptable and camera is pretty decent too.
- I am very happy with this phone: battery lastst 2 days, design is excellent, great performances.
