Speed was a major consideration and this does the job, I was surprised how much faster this works tbh.
Read/Write speeds have radically improved, from around 40Mb to typically 500Mb.
System startup has vastly improved, from around 2 minutes to just 7 seconds.
Whether it's MS Office or Adobe CS, apps open in moments.
Running a speed test it performs around 350MB/s consistently, which really helps to speed up the entire computer.

It is a good quality SSD at a reasonable price, and it works as expected. I have not noticed any problems with it.
I have no complaints at all with the speed or the performance.
The improvement in speed is very impressive. Windows' loading is twice as fast as before and all applications seem to run faster and smoother.
This SSD provided a great speed boost on startup and in the opening of files and applications.
My first SSD would definitely recommend. Fast speeds and has never given me any trouble.

Ensure you back up all data before installation and create a USB boot disk. Setup is then really straightforward.
I advise that you download a fan controller and TRIM Enabler software to maximise the potential of the new drive and to keep fans running at a sensible (and quiet) speed.
Was very quick and easy to install and the performance is excellent.

Crucial MX100 512 GB SATA 2.5 Inch Solid State Drive

Installation on my Dell XPS M1330 was straightforward.
Reliable, fast, and relatively cheap - partly down to the fact that since Crucial themselves manufacture the Micron NAND found in all their SSDs.
It is a simple aluminium case with a Crucial sticker on it. The drive is 7mm high, which ensures it will fit into just about any laptop, or PC with a suitable adaptor.
This really speeded up my old ASUS laptop so much that its as good as buying a completely new laptop.
The drive installation was simplicity itself and I was up and running in no time.
