- Works great on all floors, hardwood carpet etc... Lightweight and is perfect for pet hair
- I was reluctant to spend so much money on a vacuum, but it was on sale so I bit the bullet.
- I really like the cordless feature! So convenient.
- I couldn't believe how good it cleaned the first time I used it. It did just as good as my big Dyson Vac.
- I was always intrigued by the Dyson name and products, and decided to try this item when I recently replaced my kitchen and dining room floor.
- I like the V7 a lot and would have gladly given 5 stars had it not been for the tiny opening for the power trigger. I am on the small side and I can't get my index finger in the spot to pull the trigger.
- The v7 lives at our house and performs well on our various floor types (Berber in the playroom, mid length in bedrooms, plush rugs in living and dining room, and hardwood everywhere else).
- Really like the ease of the vacuum. I like the different speeds, really helpful on the different types of flooring.
- If you're new to this type of vacuum-- this is not a product for cleaning a whole house or even an apartment. Think of this as a really strong hand vac.
- Other than that this machine performs perfected for our house. I like the quick change attachments which allow me to clean all the different types of surfaces easily.
- The portability and lightweight design make this unit great.
- I love the light weight, cordless features and all of the accessories that came with this vacuum.
- I just love it!! Easy, light, very powerful vacuum.
- Has a lot of power for such a light vacuum. Use it all over the house!
- Usual Dyson well designed, versatile, and well made, and a little expensive.
- The roller head has a decent amount of weight to it and picking up and setting down the vacuum compromised that connection.
- I like that it is light weight and powerful. Unlike most cordless vacs. I have RA and found no problems maneuvering it.
- My wife is so excited that she can grab this thing at any time and quickly zip around the house with this light weight, yet very powerful little vac.
- I like the light weight and no need to buy bags. Returned the V6 to Costco and bought the V7 here (cheaper!) for the longer battery life.
- I was worried that the trigger power button would be annoying, but it has been a very natural transition and the vacuum is very light weight so it hasn't bothered me at all.
- The trigger is a bit sensitive and I'm still not quite used to that. Also can use it basically as a "dust buster" (for those of you from the 80's who remember them), so that is really nice too.
- Our dog is a hair making machine we can fill up the canister daily, its small, easy to store and works as promoted.
- The attachments seem to cover everything one might need and were especially useful for the car.
- The bag less feature is easy to clean and so are the brushes on the attachments.
- There is also a safety feature that will stop the suction if the vacuum becomes blocked.
- Additionally, I really like the trigger system, so you have fine control over the energy consumption.
- The roller quit spinning and the motors safety feature would shut it off immediately.
- Another feature I like is, the power button is on the handle making it much easier to turn the power on and off. It has 2 speed, High and Max Suction.
- The V7 has a larger dust bin compared to the V6 which also helps.
- Worst warehouse deal ever. missing power cord, parts and had a cracked case. Poor quality control for sure
- Only downside is the 6 minute battery life on full power.
- I love not dealing with a power cord. This little puppy is fantastic on carpets too!
- Great for a one bedroom apartment. Battery life and suction are as expected.
- I wish the battery lasted a little longer, but I also didnt eant to pay another $200 for 10 more minutes of battery time
- Every single thing about the design of this vacuum is perfect except the price which is unfortunately too high and the battery could last slightly longer like our V8 Absolute
- The battery life on the V7 compared to the V6 is hardly noticeable, especially if you only use the 'burst mode'. The +10 minutes advertised probably equates to about +1 minute in 'burst mode'
- One nice thing about the battery is that instead of slowly losing suction, when the Dyson is low on battery, it just shuts off.
- I'm impressed with the battery life. I use it in a 1800 square foot house for light carpet cleaning and hard floors. It's power is adequate for a quick going over of carpeted areas but it definitely does not give you the deep cleaning a cord powered Dyson does.
- The battery doesn’t last long, especially on max power. I get maybe 6 minutes on Max & about 15 on “power saver” if I’m lucky.
- Do wish the battery lasted longer, but didn't want to pay for upgrade to the next higher level Dyson.
