AKASO EK7000
Campark ACT74
- Size and weight, this action cam is almost identical to a GoPro, other than a little thicker. Length and width is the same, with maybe a larger lens. Weight is very similar.
- Not great but good for the size of the camera and the video quality.
- It's a really decent and lightweight camera.
- The camera is great, compact size and lots of accessories. Menu easy to navigate. Easy to use and because of its size it’s fits anywhere without getting in the way.
- Very pleased with this camera. It very compact, in fact much smaller than I anticipated but I would say the size is very handy.
- The amount of things it can do and capture is unbelievable for its compact size.
- This camera is just in the sweet spot to not notice it on your helmet I have had other cameras that are heavier and more noticeable, or so light they get lifted by the wind.
- This is my first action camera, and I wanted it to record outdoor parks and castles, it is amazing for this, very light weight ad easy to control, also comes with lots of accessories.
- It is easy to operate and has a LCD screen on its back. It feels sturdy and did not break when I dropped it.
- The product is easy to use and the LCD screen makes filming/photographing much easier.
- Easy to use and good size screen to see what you want to capture. Good product for price.
- The LCD screen is terrible - I have to look at it at an angle to see the image properly. If I look at it dead on, it has that "off-angle" look LCD screens get when you look at them from a weird angle.
- The interface is pretty nice. The LCD screen isn't the highest of quality, and does actually make the footage looks sub-par (more on quality of footage below), but it does the job fine.
- Compared to the most basic GoPro, it is about a quarter of the price, has a lot more accessories, similar and sometimes better specifications, such as the 2” display.
- One of the best feature for this, which makes it different from the GoPro is the 2.0" LTPS display screen on the back, its good sized for reviewing footage or setting up the sight.
- The screen on back of camera is useful to view videos/pictures after you have taken them.
- However, the 4k video quality is not that great, the display has poor viewing angles and the sound recording quality is bad.
- Only downside which I think all action cams suffer is that it was hard to see the subject on the viewing screen when the camera was in the case and the sun was shining.
- The options of the video format is great. I will start video more on 1080P at 60FPS for my snowboarding this Winter.
- Video quality is fine in good lighting.
- The quality of the photos and videos are good but don't expect the same quality you would get from a more expensive camera or those professional cameras.
- The video is pretty grainy on mine as are the photos in any format, maybe mine is defective or something.
- Lack of image stabilization was also a problem. Most videos turned out shaky even when I was trying to hold the camera as still as possible. My understanding is that higher end cameras from more premium brands fix this via automatic stabilization.
- I was concerned about the lack of image stabilization but have not seen any issues with this.
- First and foremost, there's no image stabilization, so your videos are always going to be shaky and there's nothing you can do.
- Very impressed with the quality of the video footage, easy to transfer the footage to a laptop or you can watch it back on the built in screen.
- I tried it outside when it was starting to go dark, so I wasn’t expecting much but the video was good, even under water.
- Love this! It’s so small and so great, tried it out underwater and the videos and pictures are great. Really really pleased and would def recommend this.
- The video playback is top quality and very clear. The sound quality is also good and captured every bump on the ride and is still working fine despite the downpour!
- I am more than happy with this camera, the resolution is great very clear, the image stabilization really works, the quality of sound is very good as well, it comes with two batteries.
- The wi-fi function works great as well as the remote that came with the camera.
- The Wi-Fi functionality is cool, but it's often leggy and unnecessary. Overall, these things are awesome and a fraction of the price of the top brand name.
- Especially like the fact that it is water resistant because we wanted to use it while it sprinkled as well for our outdoor activities.
- The wi-fi functionality is definitely on the camera, but when I try to pair it with the app it throws an error saying it's not compatible.
- The only down side is I didn't realize it didn't come with a micro SD card so we had to get one before we could use the camera. Overall she is very happy with this camera.
- The camera also has a Wi-Fi mode, which works pretty well. Campark got its own Android App, really similar to the GoPro app, you can do all the settings through this, playback and etc.
- Indeed the Wi-Fi features on the Campark camera are much better, with a significantly faster connection, than my other 4K action camera which is nearly twice the price.
- The Wi-Fi is also an added bonus so I can back up my photos to my phone storage.
- The main thing that is missing is, you will need to get a microSD card. The instructions say it must be no larger than 32Gb in size but I have a 64Gb card in this and it works fine.
- Note the memory card is not included and you would do well to buy a good quality high speed one like I did.
