What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Nikon D3400 + AF-P 18-55VR Digital SLR Camera & Lens Kit
- No, this camera doesn't have creature comforts like touch screen and a tilting LCD, but its lightweight and Very good for all kinds of shooting.
- I’ve used Nikon before and like Nikons. The 3400 is easy to use, lightweight, small, packable, and fun to use.
- It’s a great little camera to get buck into photography (like me), learn photography, or for non-photographers that want a good camera to help them take better pictures.
- This camera has been much easier to learn and use than my $3,000 version of an older model. Very lightweight and takes great photos.
- Absolutely adore this camera. It's fairly lightweight for a DSLR, but heavy enough to prevent my hands from shaking during photos.
Nikon D3500 DSLR Camera
- As soon as you pick up this camera the first thing you will realise is that it is so lightweight and compact.
- The camera is more compact than our other camera with an amazing picture quality it is also easy to learn the different functions that the camera has on it.
- I do a lot of walking and have lugged about heavy, professional Nikon full frame dslr's. I needed a lighter, more compact camera and this model fits the bill perfectly.
- Having said that, this camera, although very light, feels extremely well made and was an absolute bargain.
- It's probably your best choice if you are just starting into photography and want to travel around since it's lightweight and very decent battery life.

What customers say about "Imaging"
Nikon D3400 + AF-P 18-55VR Digital SLR Camera & Lens Kit
- Great begginger to intermediate skill set camera. Takes beautiful pictures, and the 50mm 1.8f lens turns anyone into a portrait master.
- I bought it because I have been dissatisfied with the images produced by my iphone, and I desired higher quality pictures for my first time trip to NYC. I have not been disappointed!
- As far as image quality is concerned, in perfect conditions, it will take AMAZING photos.
- Terrific image quality and ease of use. Easy photo transfer. Great value!
- I bought this as a gift for my son. He said the quality of the camera is amazing. The photos he has taken are of the best images.
Nikon D3500 DSLR Camera
- The picture quality easily matches that of my 'professional' cameras.
- The kit lens performed admirably taking landscapes and low-light, long exposure images of the Northern Lights. An excellent camera to start with.
- What impressed me the most was the image quality and the lightining fast focus. Excellent.
- I have been using this camera for a couple of days now and I'm very impressed with its image quality.
- This camera has shown me how I've been missing out with the quality of amazing images.

What customers say about "Display"
Nikon D3400 + AF-P 18-55VR Digital SLR Camera & Lens Kit
- Even in bright daylight, the D3400’s screen is very good and should work well when you’re not using the viewfinder.
- Great little camera. Even without all the bells and whistles it still gives you an amazing image quality on the screen and on paper.
- Let’s talk about the burst mode on the Nikon D3400. The D3400 can shoot at 5 frames per second that is really fast.
- The LCD cannot be viewed while wearing polarized sunglasses unless you turn the camera or your head sideways.
- Some cons are the non flip LCD viewer and non touch screen ( and if you have used older Nikons you know the menus are only ok, the D5600 has touch screen and makes the menus make easier).
Nikon D3500 DSLR Camera
- It is a fixed screen, not tiltable, and not a touch-screen. The display mode is selected by a convenient lever switch right next to the modes dial.
- The D3500 lacks an articulating LCD and touch screen controls which make photography so much easier and enjoyable.
- The 3" screen is big and clear with good resolution, highly recommended!
- What I dont like like about this this camera are the lack of focus points and tiltable touch screen.
- Downsides are no touch screen, no wifi, and no plug for a remote trigger.

What customers say about "Features"
Nikon D3400 + AF-P 18-55VR Digital SLR Camera & Lens Kit
- I decided to go with Nikon because of the screen interface - I found it to be more intuitive compared to Canon.
- The pictures are amazing, the sports mode is perfect for my dogs running photos, and long lens has such an impressive zoom.
- The red color is so cute and the camera is so user friendly for someone who hasn't touched one in 10 years. its very light and I love the different modes.
- It doesn't have the easy panorama mode that the D3300 has. As a beginner, I do not own lightroom or photoshop and it would be nice to be able to make a panorama without post processing software.
- Ok for someone who does not plan on anything more then point and shoot, manual modes are usable but very slow and cumbersome.
Nikon D3500 DSLR Camera
- The d3500 feels very comfortable to hold with the rubberised grip but feels also quite solid.
- This camera is really easy to use and I did find that the button placement is simple but very effective if you want to change your settings quickly.
- There are plenty of different modes to go in depending on what situation you want to capture but manual mode is where you can maximise the potential and get the outcome you really want.
- The menu interface is simple, not cluttered and includes a handy setup guide to get you acquainted with the camera its self.
- First thing that struck me was the nice build quality, the grip is comfortable and ergonomic, the menu is easy to follow.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Nikon D3400 + AF-P 18-55VR Digital SLR Camera & Lens Kit
- Snap bridge makes it easier to get the photos on your phone instead of having to plug in the sd card into the computer and sending photos from the computer to your phone.
- I admire the quality of this DSLR, the ports look reliable, the buttons are conveniently located.
- It's great that the camera has a SD card slot on which you can store photos. For a long time I had no problems with the SD card, it always works.
- USB port on camera only allows image transfer plug in remotes are not supported, no external microphone, no wifi.
- I would like to have a second SD card slot, it would be much more convenient, but overall I am satisfied.
Nikon D3500 DSLR Camera
- The camera comes with the battery charger, carrying strap, and has a standard SD slot instead of micro SD slot.
- I have a Samsung phone and was able to download the Nikon app and transfer pics to it without any wires or taking out the SD card.
- It has a SD slot for images, hdmi and usb for data transfer, so Bluetooth really shouldn’t be used as it is painfully long.
- The D3500 comes with nice features such as a variety of special effects and wireless connection.
- You can use the app to take photos. I had no problem connecting and downloading photos to my Android phone.
