What customers say about "Key Specs"
Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens Black
- The aperture changes to f/5.6 but the sharpness is still there, a great lens for either landscape or urban photography.
- Although the aperture range is a little on the slow side (f/4.5-5.6), the Vibration reduction (VR) should compensate for this by allowing a slower shutter speed.
- Unless you need to photograph people in low light or you want to do astro photograph, the small aperture will do just fine.
- Maximum aperture F/4.5-5.6, which is not good for low light, indoor, and astro photography.
- It doesn't have very low aperture so you can't really use it for astrophotography.
Tokina AT-X 11-20 mm f2.8 PRO DX Lens for Nikon Camera
- Very pleased with the lens. Have not experienced any focusing problems (on a Nikon D500).
- Besides fantastic image quality, I am very happy with the build and also how it feels mounted on a Nikon D7100.
- For the money and the image quality, I can't really fault it. Having f2.8 as an option is just a nice little added bonus too.
- I can't see me ever getting rid of this lens unless I switch systems completely, which, partly due to this lens, I feel no reason to do.
- This lens is just superb. It is sharp right from the centre all the way to the corners. It's large aperture allows me to shoot in low light.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens Black
- This lens much lighter and more compact, the ergo is better, and the VR should more than make up for the fact that the aperture is slightly slower.
- Lightweight and small size which allows you to take the lens anywhere.
- It is however light and very small, so this may be important to those looking to lighten their load.
- Not much to say, great travel lens, very lightweight and compact.
- It's also lightweight, quiet and has fast focus. The photos look good.
Tokina AT-X 11-20 mm f2.8 PRO DX Lens for Nikon Camera
- It is not too heavy by lenses of this standard. The greatest advantage is that the physical size of the lens does not change when you zoom from 11 mm to 20 mm.
- Great zoom capability , compacts down for storage . A decent lens for the money.
- For its focal length it is a relatively compact physical size and the amount of light that it lets in is okay.
- Out of the box, lens is fairly compact and quite light, the casing is a little plasticky but all parts are clearly marked.
- Absolutely brilliant for the price! Sturdy but lightweight, easy to change.

What customers say about "Imaging"
Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens Black
- Can't wait for Autumn and it's spectacular colours. Crisp, sharp Auto Focus, VR too. Top notch as far as I'm concerned.
- The colors are awesome and the pictures came out really clear, focus was fast and accurate.
- Optics are wonderful, crisp and auto focus is quick and accurate.
- The zoom ring is large, and feels nice. The focus ring turns smooth, but it's too thin for my liking.
- The focus is electronic, so turning the ring actually does not mechanically focus the lens.
- The VR is good and the AF fast and accurate, but this doesn't make up for the lens' optical flaws.
Tokina AT-X 11-20 mm f2.8 PRO DX Lens for Nikon Camera
- Excellent lens, I can recommend it if you need a great wide angle, or just want to go under the standard 18mm.
- The images are crisp and clear though. It is easy to use and to date I have not had any issues with the lens.
- I find the image quality to be better than any of my other lenses (including Nikon).
- The clutch mechanism when switching between auto and manual focus can be a little jerky.
- I found odd colour rendering not seen with Nikon lenses. Nikon much better!

What customers say about "Features"
Nikon AF-P DX NIKKOR 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR Lens Black
- Great lens for landscaping. Very fast focus. Make sure it is compatible with your camera. Works perfectly on my D7100.
- The smaller 72mm diameter means that filters will be slightly cheaper on this lens.
- IF NIKKORS do not change in size during AF operation, allowing for compact, lightweight lenses capable of closer focusing distances.
- It is not compatible with some slightly older Nikon cameras, and some may need a firmware update in order to work fully.
- There are NO external switches. All of this (AF and VR) can be turned off with your camera though.
Tokina AT-X 11-20 mm f2.8 PRO DX Lens for Nikon Camera
- All internal elements move internally with the outer barrel remaining same. This helps to keep outer air out - in other zooms the pump action of the barrel in-out causes external air with dust to in.
- I have just bought it but it looks like that it is built to last at least 10+ years. So you cannot go wrong with it.
- Happy with this lens, build quality is decent, zoom works great and it's not too heavy.
- The 82mm filter thread means expensive filters, but these is small negative.
- The lens does not have VR/IS but it is now needed so not recommended.
