The X470 Gaming Pro Carbon AM4 ATX Motherboard from MSI is built on the AMD X470 chipset, supporting AMD Ryzen series and A-Series/Athlon processors with an AM4 socket. It has four DDR4 slots that can hold up to 64GB of dual-channel RAM at speeds of up to 3466 MHz when overclocked.

- This is a very great board. Good form factor.
- Overall, it works and works well. Good form factor for my case.
- Bios was easy to update to be Ryzen 3rd Gen compatible.
- Don't buy this for a new Ryzen 3000 unless you have an older processor to update the BIOS first.
- Completely unreliable with R9 3900x, don't waste your money on the m/b if you have that processor.

- You won't find USB 2.0 ports on the back, at a minimum they are USB 3.1 Gen 1/3.2 gen 1 which is refreshing.

- The setup for the build was relatively easy as the plugs on the board were clearly marked and there was enough room between the different hardware slots.
- One of the main reasons I chose this motherboard was the AMD bios feature, to make overclocking easy.
- I am pleased with this motherboard's functionality and bios design. It is easy to use and looks high end.
- Best motherboard in my opinion for heavy overclocking.
- The Bios is not easy to find things and operate on, compared to asus.

- The most impressive feature is the Audio Boost which supposedly improves input/output, and it did just that.
- The new features are many and nothing in excess.
- The feature set is perfect and it's an excellent value for the price.
- MB has 5v rgb pin that allows me to replace RGB fans and use mysticlight to sync the RGB fans.
- Other features, like Nvidia Sli, AMD CrossFire, 2 m.2 slot are great either.
