What customers say about "Key Specs"
Kingston V300 120GB Solid State Drive
- Performs very fast, improving both boot times and application opening times.
- Any laptop a couple of years old will gain a lot of speed if you swap out the existing hard drive for one of these.
- It all works well, with a very noticeable speed performance over my HDD.
- Huge improvement on speed as you would expect and as i'm not a power user this drive is perfect for my needs.
- The speed performance of these drives is pretty poor.
Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB 2.5 inch Solid State Drive
- Install was easy and the write/read speed were very close to advertised speed.
- It has read speeds of around 540 Mbps and will greatly improve you system speed. I have had users ask me what I done to their computers because it is so fast now.
- The drive has great read and write speeds. The drive also fits within the drive bay as it should.
- Reading/writing speed increased considerably for all my programs. I highly recommend.
- This really gave my old PC a boost as far as speed and storage capacity.

What customers say about "Features"
Kingston V300 120GB Solid State Drive
- Improve battery life on laptops and also because it has no moving parts it it isn't vulnerable to damage from knocks and bumps.
- Probably one of the best upgrades to a laptop computer is converting and installing a Solid State Drive.
- Easy to install and really fast to load windows 10.
- Set up easily, no complaints during installation or use.
- My only wish is that Kingston would create their own migration software, like samsung magician, rather than using acronis.
Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB 2.5 inch Solid State Drive
- Uses normal SATA III interface and was recognized by computer with no problem.
- If your system supports SATA 3 only, you won't be disappointed with this; I personally bought a few, and never had an issue with any of them.
- Very fast SSD and offers 256-bit encryption, I cannot find a better SSD than this one.
- The 32-layer 3D VNAND flash memory ensures reliable performance, and AES 256-bit encryption keeps my data private.
- No reduction in start-up time. Still takes about 20-ish seconds. Not bad, but I don't understand why there isn't at least a little improvement.
