What customers say about "Key Specs"
TP-LINK RE305 AC1200 Universal Dual Band Range Extender
- No drop in speed after several tests around the house and reliable WiFi.
- Weak signal is cured and no matter where I go in the house I'm pretty much picking up full signal (5ghz) on my phone.
- One handy thing about these plugs is they can be placed anywhere with power and an incoming router pickup signal. So I'm planning on using mine outside, on sunny days for extra garden coverage!
- After trying a few extenders and different routers, this is the only one that works well. Extends the wifi at good speed up to the 3rd story. Easy to set up and reliable.
- Weak connection speed to router, complicated to setup without WPS, and no 2.4G and 5G combined mode.
TP-LINK RE350
- When I check the internet settings after setting up the extender, I found an increase in the internet speed and also signal strength.
- The extender worked well for my needs, I'm not sure how well it would work across more floors but I definitely recommend it for smaller houses where one floor has a weaker connection than.
- Connecting the extender to a plug point on the 1st floor really boosted the internet connection in these areas.
- I had to play around with the location a bit before finding a location that worked well for boosting my router signal, but once I experimented a bit I found a location the extender worked well from.
- It was set up and working within 10 minutes and the wi-fi signal in the dead area of my house now enjoys the same speed as everywhere else.

What customers say about "Size & Weight"
TP-LINK RE305 AC1200 Universal Dual Band Range Extender
- Size made it possible to put it in a location I hadn't previously considered which avoids needing to go through walls.
- It looks small and elegant! Very happy, definitely recommended.
- It looks OK and is small enough to not completely block a double plug socket.
- Small, elegant and does the job!
- So essentially it will provide you with a much lower speed access point in the same room as your router, or a very small wall heater with a couple of pretty lights and no network access if you actually move it to another room.
TP-LINK RE350
- The other TP Link extenders are larger than this one & the plug was able to be used in a twin socket with the spare one available.
- It fits in a double socket well enough without hindering the adjoining socket. I would heartily recommend this extender as it works extremely well.
- Great product nice size and looking item, easy to set up.
- Easy to set up, premium quality, however the word 'mini' is only applied when you compare it with the other model RE355.
- Actually the size surprised me when I opened the box, it is BIGGER than my TL-WA860RE Wi-Fi booster which has a integrated pass-through socket!

TP-LINK RE305 AC1200 Universal Dual Band Range Extender
- Downloaded the android app for the extender which helped decide upon the best location to improve the signal etc - all very very easy to use.
- The app works well helping to setup.
- It was very easy to setup using the app and following the instructions and I've had no problem with it since.
- If you've got a dead spot this is likely to cover it with minimal fuss. Using the Tether app makes it a breeze to setup.
- The GUI interface on the android app make the setup and diaganosis easy to understand.
TP-LINK RE350
- Really impressed & you can download an app on both Android / Apple from TP Link to tinker with the settings if you so wish.
- It does have an app to manage and can be used as a hotspot if you get cable to it.
- My room is in the attic, the router is downstairs, and it has boosted my PS4 speed from 8gb to 30gb!!! It even has a very handy app!
- The tether app is also good to check the positioning of the extender itself, very intuitive and a bonus.
- The app to connect was good and fairly easy to use, setup on the extender was easy enough.
