This camera is very good especially if you start in the world of photography, the photos are of very good quality and the size is very easy to transport.
Compact and lightweight best friend for travel.
Can be hung around the neck for easy transport. Very light and comfortable.
The camera for a beginner is not bad, although I expected it a little larger in size and that the image quality was sharper.
The dimensions are a bit smaller than I expected. For my thumbs this is a small camera.

Compact size with excellent zoom capability. Light weight and comfortable to hold with one hand. All the programmes any amateur will ever need.
This a great size and weight and there is no really tiny buttons or dials that make life difficult on smaller cameras.
Takes good pictures and downloads easily to your smartphone. Light weight and easy to use.
The camera is light weight and simple to use, I haven't downloaded no user manual as I got 1 that explained things perfectly.
Looks ok and is light weight, zoom is terrible when fully zoomed you can't even make out what your looking at!

With the massive focal range at our disposal the SX430 IS might be great for wildlife or sports photography.
Despite the fact that this is a budget model, there are no problems with cropping and evaluation of image quality in the field.
The lens reach here is so massive that, when attempting photography at the telephoto end of the zoom, the image relayed to the LCD screen tends to ‘dance’ about.
There are two choices when it comes to image quality: Superfine and Fine and the ISO range is pretty limited – running from a manually selectable ISO100 to ISO1600.

Picture quality great. Check and use the various settings for the perfect pic. Continuous is particularly useful. Have fun with the effects.
Excellent in low light. Battery life was good, but goes quicker if linked automatically to phone for downloading pics on the go.
The high ISO means you don't need to use the flash as frequently as you would with most cameras.
I had one criticism of the camera, it's that it doesn't take great shots in low light.
Even the slightest movement produced blurred images. I have also tried turning auto mode off and increasing the iso, with varying but still unacceptable results.

Depending on the lighting conditions, holding the INFO button can quickly change the brightness of the screen. This makes it easier to work with it.
In bright sunshine, it’s quite convenient to take a photo, but the picture taken may seem darker than it actually is. With less bright lighting, such problems do not arise.
You can easily view all the pictures taken, on the camera screen. It conveys clear and beautiful shots.
Hard to see screen on sunny day, would prefer a viewfinder to take great pictures.
Unfortunately, the lack of a viewfinder upsets, sometimes it is inconvenient to look at the display and take pictures.

I did like that the display screen is adjustable, very helpful when taking pictures at different angles.
It hasn't got a viewfinder but has a 3 inch screen which can be tilted and moved.
Big screen and easy to read menus make up for this, well worth the price tag.
The fold down tilting LCD view screen is an amazing feature. Easy Bluetooth connection to my phone but not a feature that I really use.
I like the pivoting viewfinder but I wish that the camera had a screen that turned completely around.

It didn't disappoint, easy to use and has a lot of the features and mode which good picture quality.
Many different modes so I mainly stick to auto. Super camera for a first timer who wants good pics.
Sound good, I can take decent pictures of the moon even and sports mode is fav. For a point and shoot, great value for money and very easy to use.
Also, easy to press the shutter button halfway to focus, and then set up the frame. Glad to have this camera!
Lack of any manual control over shutter speed, focus, or really anything. I like to be able to take timed exposures for waterfalls and such, completely impossible with this camera.

The presence of wireless Wi-Fi and NFC modules in the camera is a huge advantage of the Canon PowerShot SX430 IS. To activate the Wi-Fi connection, just press the corresponding button.
With new technologies, it is possible to connect to the printer via wi-fi and print photos from the camera.
Transferring photos and videos can be done quickly and easily using the wireless functions of Wi-Fi and NFC.
There is no HDMI output, which can make it difficult to output pictures to a TV or laptop.

I don't use the set up to transfer my pictures wirelessly to a mobile device, there is a cable to enable you to connect the camera directly to a computer or laptop. And it works well.
There is also the ability to connect your compatible phone/tablet and control camera remotely or even sync new pictures to your phone as you go.
I love the Bluetooth connectivity. That is life-changing. The Nikon app has worked well, paired with my iPhone 7.
The software interface on the Nikon COOLPIX B500 software was just sad and needs a serious update.
Just wish it was able to connect to a microphone and the screen could flip to the side as well! No complaints other than that.
