What customers say about "Size & Weight"
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000EB Bridge Wi-Fi Camera
  • It is perfectly sized to balance with the lens, the hand grip is comfortable, and it's easy to hold the camera steady, all the other buttons and dials seem well placed and easy to reach.
  • Despite its size, it is hands down the most comfortable camera I have worn.
  • Yes, it's a sizable camera. But I think for many users, such as myself, it is - at the moment - the perfect compromise between size, range, lens quality and brightness, features, and price.
  • Not compact by any means, about the size of a DSLR, but with a 16x zoom, there is no need to carry several lenses as well as the camera.
  • The camera is quite big and heavy close to an entry level SLR in size but slightly less bulky.
Canon PowerShot SX70 HS 65x Optical Zoom Bridge Camera
  • Overall, though, it is a good all-rounder, I think and a very powerful machine considering its size and weight.
  • Camera is not small but a reasonable weight and it feels tough enough for normal use.
  • An excellent camera that you can take with you on a trip and take great pictures.
  • Perfect size for my coat pocket. I carry this with me with ease.
  • The lens is too big to put the camera in the pocket of your pants or jacket. Inconvenient size to carry.

What customers say about "Imaging"
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000EB Bridge Wi-Fi Camera
  • The large focal range of its lens coupled with the large image sensor is all I need.
  • ISO ranges from 100 to beyond 12,000. So far I have found no discernible noise at 3200 iso which allows for very dim light shooting handheld photography.
  • The Lumix has a 20 mega-pixel sensor and the lens quality is simply stunning with an aperture range of f2.8 to f8.
  • One downside is that in 4K video mode the camera crops the sensor slightly so that the minimum field of view is equivalent to about 37mm focal length compared to 25mm for photographs.
  • A small system camera is also not very well suited for long lenses, being very unbalanced and therefore harder to hold steady at long focal lengths.
Canon PowerShot SX70 HS 65x Optical Zoom Bridge Camera
  • The camera will turn on and be ready to fire a shot in a pretty quick 1.5 seconds. Focusing in good light is almost instantaneous.
  • The 10fps continuous shooting rate, up from 6.5fps on the SX60, is exceptionally fast for this kind of camera.
  • Great zoom range with 21mm which allows you to take different photos.Lovely handling and effective image stabilisation.
  • The camera is good although it produces quite noisy images. Especially with higher ISO much noisier than it's predecessor SX60 HS.
  • You can almost forgot low light shooting and most indoor light photography because that's just terrible.

What customers say about "Display"
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000EB Bridge Wi-Fi Camera
  • A 3 inch fully articulating 920K LCD display comes to the rescue for those awkward shooting angles and selfies. It is very bright and usable in direct sunlight.
  • Exactly what I wanted. A wonderfully clear view through the viewfinder, and automatic switch between screen and viewfinder adds to ease of use.
  • The viewfinder screen is suberb, it's bright when outdoors and comes with the ability to rotate and swivel it to suit.
  • The OLED viewfinder actually made others exclaim out loud when I showed it to them - it's like looking through the viewfinder of an SLR rather than staring at a tiny screen.
  • Nice camera. Just I don't like the not touch-screen. Sent back.
Canon PowerShot SX70 HS 65x Optical Zoom Bridge Camera
  • Canon make much higher electronic viewfinder resolution, larger LCD screen display, 4K video, additional creative filters, RAW support and much more.
  • Being used to a DSLR this camera makes the transition so very easy as it uses both a flip out screen AND a Viewfinder. Fantastic.
  • The Electronic Viewfinder is superb, however, and allows much more confidence when taking shots compared to the SX50.
  • With the function of turning the monitor and controlling from phone, you can take great selfies.
  • The photographs taken are poorly visible in direct sunlight.

What customers say about "Features"
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000EB Bridge Wi-Fi Camera
  • This is a really good camera. Incredibly easy to take pictures of everything including a heron in near darkness, an air display, action photos of kids.
  • For monochrome shooting, it's possible to turn the screen image black and white. I think that's a brilliant idea.
  • Pan slowly in the set direction, the camera then shoots multiple images and stitches them together. The finished picture is a seriously impressive Panorama.
  • There are some useful modes too, such as the "freeze animal action" mode, which detects a moving subject and adjusts the focus and shutter speed etc. for you.
  • Only weird quirk is: I like to turn off the camera sound but the sound must be turned on to use the panorama feature.
Canon PowerShot SX70 HS 65x Optical Zoom Bridge Camera
  • The SX70 would offer higher sensor resolution, wider and longer zoom capabilities, built-in WiFi with smartphone remote control to the camera compared to previous models.
  • The zoom is out of this world! Not only do you get 65x optical zoom but on Auto mode this increases to a ridiculous 260x with the digital zoom!
  • There are many modes for taking photos in different places and it works great. Photos are clear and beautiful.
  • I thought the "sport" mode could help me to take burst pictures. No, too slow in that mode and other modes are not better.
  • Pictures come out very flat unless it's a very bright day. Night time mode is next to useless. Very disappointed.

What customers say about "Connectivity"
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000EB Bridge Wi-Fi Camera
  • I use an external Rode microphone for video and sound quality is also very good. I am very happy with this purchase.
  • Wifi connection and mobile phone remote control. This works very very well and allows geo-tagging, zooming remotely and changing settings.
  • Great fun feature is that you can connect it to your iPhone and use that as a remote control to see through, and operate the camera.
  • The Wi-Fi connectivity allowed me to send pictures to my computer automatically, in less than a few seconds. No button presses required.
  • There's no GPS tracking either so it won't geotag the exact position of your pics.
Canon PowerShot SX70 HS 65x Optical Zoom Bridge Camera
  • The Bluetooth and WiFi connection options are easy to set up and do work. The download of photos to my Windows 10 system is a nice option, rather than having to seek out a USB cable.
  • It connect to my smart devices so that I could download my photos whilst on holiday and more conveniently at home as well.
  • Bluetooth technology means you can now connect to a smartphone to upload photos or imprint GPS co-ordinates onto your photos using the Canon Connect app.
  • I do like the bluetooth connection to my tablet - it took me a little messing around to set it up, but it works well.
  • Dislike the connection with Bluetooth and WiFi, but I will suffer that and do it the old fashion way. The connection is very often interrupted and disappears.
