- I bought this camera because it is very compact, it has a very good zoom range for its size.
- The camera handles nicely thanks to a protruding grip on the right side which allows you to hold it securely with one hand.
- It's a great pocket-sized camera that works for travel, indoor parties, and some fine photography such as flowers, landscapes, and portraits.
- Super portable. It's the size of a pack of cigarettes.
- If you need a compact travel zoom camera, the HX90V is more suitable.
- The camera has a reassuring weight and lovely to handle. Recommended.
- I’ve been using a Canon 550D for many years. Great camera but somewhat bulky. Decided I wanted higher megapixels in a more compact camera. The PowerShot SX730 HS is exactly what I wanted.
- Fantastic zoom for such a small camera. Great value price compared to others with the same features.
- This Canon is compact and cover a wide range of photography styles. I would class this as a perfect holiday companion.
- This is a remarkable compact camera to have a 40 times optical zoom and adjustable screen which is the main reason I purchased it.

- Using the automatic settings it accurately chooses the right focal points, exposure, resulting in vibrant-colored images.
- The image stabilization does an amazing job at steadying the shot, even at that long focal length.
- The ISO range (80-3200, 12800) together with other features, particularly the size and zoom, pushed this product slightly ahead of the competition.
- Low light exposures come out well, there is little noise at higher iso settings.
- The small sensor still has problems with noise at higher ISO ranges above 800.
- Very easy to use, fantastic picture quality (20MP) and great optical zoom.
- Love this camera, I brought it to take out when I don't want to carry my DSLR, Also perfect for fishing trips with the flip up screen it makes self take trophy shots easy.
- The zoom is amazing (optical 40X and digital 80x) and there appears to be very little loss of detail, colour or saturation.
- My wife was delighted that I bought it as if we had relied on iPhones the photos would not have been very good. The camera is perfect. Highly recommended.
- Camera arrived quickly and well packaged in post . It takes very good photos with great detail.

- The main display is great and I like the fact that it can pivot 180 degrees up to do selfies, and also is good for taking pictures close to the ground.
- Display also can display whether the camera is level, which is great for shooting landscapes with horizons.
- It is also good enough in bright sunlight, though in such situations I do prefer the viewfinder.
- The good points - fantastically compact, great zoom range and it has a viewfinder, albeit very small.
- My old HX9V will display remaining battery power for how many minutes. The HX90V does not display that information.
- Really like tilting rear screen and high pixel rate. Results are very good!
- I found the screen hard to see in daylight conditions and, on reflection, might have preferred to look around for something similar with an eye level viewfinder.
- Great flexible screen, nice quality. Superb zoom lens! Recommended.
- The flexible screen makes it easy to take photos from different angles, and great selfies.
- There is no eye-level viewfinder and the screen, even at its brightest setting, is invisible in bright sunlight.
- This is exactly what I wanted! It has a 30X zoom range, a multiple exposure feature to get three different exposures for HDR processing, and a panorama capability.
- The flip view screen is great and the ability to take panorama shots is fantastic.
- The camera also has a panorama setting that functioned without any problem.
- It’s versatile, great focus modes, the fitting offers a host of adaptor options.
- I also appreciate Manual mode in a consumer level camera. While most people won't use it, there is always times when the camera does NOT know how to properly evaluate a scene.
- The GPS didn't work, or was incompatible with iPhotos.
- It has some clever little features too which you will only find out with playing with the camera. Awesome camera!
- Very impressed: so many features for a basic digital camera. I used it extensively during my week in New York, only on Auto and it responded every time.
- Superb macro and the zoom is just magnificent, fully functional as it's bigger brothers P, TV, AV, Manual, scene modes, HD video.
- The camera is pretty much fully programable in manual mode - making it nice to use alongside (or instead of) a DSLR.
- Excellent camera - so far used it in various situations and it works brilliantly. Especially pleased with the ability to take photos at gigs - low light, movement, distance and still look great.

- Zoom is great, optical viewfinder is even better, folding screen is good for selfies, wifi is great for tablet / phone connectivity and transfer of photos, this camera has it all.
- The HX90V is equipped with NFC, which supposedly allows you to set up a connection between it and a compatible smartphone or tablet simply by holding the two devices against each other.
- I also like how once set up, the camera will backup up photos to my iPad when I connect my iPad to the camera's network name.
- The micro USB cable connection is tiny and sometimes hard to find.
- The connection to my computer also didn't work because Sony's software isn't up to date with the latest OSX.
- The camera is very easy to connect to a computer via USB, the connection does not disappear.
- Yesterday I uploaded photos to the computer from this camera and the speed was impressive.
- No problems with the memory card like on my last camera, not even familiar already.
- After a year of use, the usb port broke down in the camera.
- Ports seemed to me very flimsy, it seems that they will not work for long.
