Smooth performance - works fine with 4GB of VRAM.
Great performance with 4GB of VRAM and 256-bit bus.
Only uses 1x power connector, unlike many of its competitors which unnecessarily use 2.
Gaming at 1080p, you won't even come close to the 3.5gb theoretical limit, so this card is still good.
Its a Gtx 970 which unfortunately means its only really got 3.5 gb of high speed video ram.

Quite simply the greatest GPU i have ever used.
3.5GB RAM not 4 as advertised, but still is great value.
This card is able to run everything on the market at over 150fps on ultra settings with no overclocking needed.
Overclocking I got 1568mhz with boost on core, so this is great.
It's advertised as having 4GB, but segments it into a 3.5GB and a 0.5GB segment.

This card is silent with the computer load at surfing the web the fans where not moving which made it super silent.
Brilliant card, particularly if you game at 1080p - and a massive step up from my aging 560ti.
It is a quiet runner, making a hissing sound when the fans spin up faster as you load the card with more processing.
The card hasn't gone above 65'c after hours of playing.
The fact all the fans turn off if your just browsing the web etc is fantastic. My PC is totally silent 90% of the time .

I've stuck with the gigabyte cards for years because the cooling is second to none, especially if you have good air flow in your case.
Temps stay below 65 when under load. But on stress test will hit 75 when overclocked.
This G1 Gaming edition is much bigger than the other 970s, this is due to an extra fan which provides much needed cooling.
The 'Windforce' badge on the side lights up blue and can be programmed to pulse and flash.
Software that comes with it includes the Gigabyte OC Guru that helps guide you through overclocking the card if you decide you want to.

The great thing is, it only needs 1 x 8 pin power cable, which is good news for me.
The card itself has 1 Displayport (1.2), 1 HDMI (2.0), DVI-I port and a DVI-D port. This is pretty decent for multi-monitor setup.
Setting the card up is straightforward and simple process with you just needing to hook up the single 8 Pin PCI-E.
Comes with a wide variety of ports. Even little outdated DVI still here.
Mine card has had issues with the displayport dying.

This card works perfectly with 2 pc screens and even with a television connected sometimes and has enough ports for it.
The triple display port is a definite step in a good direction for nvidia new cards!
I use the HDMI output to a television from the card to display a pin sharp video image on the television from within Adobe Premiere.
This card includes DVI, HDMI and Displayport outputs making it compatible with all of the mainstream monitor connections.
The card has good amount of ports for everyone to be comfortable.
