The display on the calculator allows for more readable sums, fractions for example allow you to actually see one number abover the other one instead of using some weird symbol like the calculators when I was at school.
The calculator worked straight away, comes with a decent instruction manual and the large display is easy to read.
Display is clear to read and very conveniently shows fractions.
This model has the benefit of a large display and, more importantly for me as I get older, a much better lit display that makes it easier on my eyes.

The display is certainly not like the one I had in school as it shows the calculation on the top row with the answer on the bottom which is brilliant as any mistakes can be easily seen.
Nice large clear display, a sliding case that you can slide on and use the calculator, so doesn't get lost.

The really brilliant thing about this Calculator is that it displays your workings just as you would write them down on a piece of paper in school.
Calculator's hardly run out of battery so it's a must buy for School's and sometimes offices.
Quality is good and it lasts for years on the single battery that's within it.
I have had this calculator since 2012 September, the batteries have lasted since then.
Very useful, more than enough functions, good price, and good battery duration.

Casio FX-85GT Plus Scientific Calculator

I like the design of this because I has a hard shell to protect it when being bashed about in her school bag and is powered by solar panel as well as the backup battery.
This model has a solar panel and battery back up, which the lower model does not have.
I left the calculator uncovered in a room with mostly artificial light and the calculator charged up quickly and could be used purely on solar power!
Excellent battery life and solar panel charging, never runs out of juice.
The solar power is good peace of mind that it will work even if the battery ran out on you.
