- An excellent lense that has added extra sharpness to my photographs It is heavy compared to other lenses I have but makes up for this in the sharpness and detail I now get.
- The images are from this lens are very good. They are shparp with high contrast.
- The images have a very clean quality with crisp detail. Most images were taken at or about f4 4.5. Out of focus area are not terriblely creamy or smooth. Just Unique.
- First of all, there is no denying that this is the sharpest 24-70 available for nikon cameras. If sharpness is your thing, and you love your D810 as much as I love mine, then order this now.
- Distortion at 24mm is definitely noticable, although it's the same as all the other 24-70s.
- This is my second Tokina lens, and I love it. Other than weight, its performance and photo quality is comparable to the Canon 24-70 2.8.
- People complaining about the slow focus are just nitpicking. Love the weight. Very well-made for the price.
- Excellent size in order to put this lens with you in a bag and take it as a second lens.
- The lens is heavy with huge diameter. Which causes certain difficulties in use.
- A monster of a lens. The heaviest I have ever used. Hands get tired incredibly.
- It feels good to use. The zoom motion is very stiff without a bit of creep.
- The focus is not as faat as other ATX lenses although very precise.
- The autofocus is just barely approaching officially being slow. The af accuracy is great, but the speed is just ok.
- Zoom ring a little stiff. Manual focus clutch works like a charm.
- Since there is no image stabilization it is necessary to work with a tripod or a high ISO in low light.
- Works great with Nikon D700 and provide excellent color rendition and very sharp image.
- It's very sharp, focuses quickly in all the situations I've used it for. It's heavy, but well made.
- This is a good lens and I'm impressed with its focusing speed on my Nikon D750. It's a sharp lens and I think the image quality is above average for its price.
- The image quality is top notch, but my copy had issues with its filter threads so I had to return it.
- The auto focus is a little laggy on my crop sensor, but thats the case with all my lenses, Nikon or otherwise.
