- Great detector for small gold. I've found a few small pickers with it already.
- Great product.,very user friendly, once you get the feel of the sensitivity it finds very fine GOLD.
- I like the 5" coil it sees really small gold. The detector comes with skid plates on the two coils.
- Easy to learn and use. The sounds are a little different than an analog machine.
- I believe that a small coil is useless because it is looking for very small pieces of gold.
- Lightweight , finds the smallest gold. Easy to use.
- Coils come with replaceable covers. Feels solid, well made and it’s light.
- It was easy to assemble and a very lightweight metal detector.
- I like that it can be folded compactly to save storage space.
- The balance is disturbed, which causes inconvenience when carrying it. Becoming very difficult carry it.
- I like that the GM 1000 is sensitive to small gold as that's what I have in southern NM.
- I've used mine every day since it arrived. Works great on coins and relics.
- Auto ground balance is a dream come true. I haven’t had any problems with it yet.
- I would prefer more depth but as I plan to follow the dry washers, hit bed rock and mine dumps, depth is not an issue.
- It sometimes shows that there is gold in the earth, but unfortunately there is only garbage.
- It has a 24 bit processor that reads the ground type and automatically sets the ground balance, you may need to pump the detector 20 times and re balance as you detect.
- The detector has a nice auto function for searching but I think I will use the detector settings set below the auto setting so that it will run smooth in a manual mode.
- I like that the signal amplifies with approaching the find.
- An excellent display that contains a lot of useful information.
- The audio signal can be with a large error or indicate the place where there is nothing.
