This system complemented the Soundtouch system in my patio. I used this speaker to extend my existing 251 system to cover my outdoor spa area. Excellent sound and easy to install.
These are in keeping with the true bose sound, however be wary for the ones that want wireless as these still require a power source, such as a receiver.
Bought a pair to put outside on porch, the sound is great. Very happy with this purchase

My family loves these speakers. We have 1 pair for the deck and another pair under the deck for use by our pool. They look great and sound good too. Do not expect alot of base but do expect good crisp sound for outdoor use.

I bought these to replace a pair of makers speakers that came with a mini hi-fi and have not been disappointed.

Loved the speakers. Sadly, missing wall brackets. It looked like the box had already been opened - a big foot print on the instruction manual.

Very versatile speakers and powerful. Small with big punch.
I needed some quality surround sound speakers. Because of their shape and size I was able to place these in my my kitchen on top the cabinets. Easy hook up out of the box. Can't go wrong with Bose!
I agree with another reviewer, should come with a bracket to mount under the eaves.
Maybe i got a bad pair but the ones I tried had almost no bass. For the cost and size, I expected more from Bose.

These speakers are slim enough to sit on the window ledge (which it what I needed) and fill the room with sound.
Overall a great speaker, could do with updating as they have been on sale for many years now but still very much do the job, the build and weight of the speakers is reassuring too, I believe Bose give these passive speakers a 5 year warranty which gives peace of mind.
Great size, great sound - we have a vaulted ceiling so the smaller speakers actually seem to work better than the 201/301.
I wish Bose made more provision for shelf placement. The speakers seem to be designed almost solely with wall-mounting in mind.

I would recommend this product for additional speakers, I added them to my home theater system, used them as my center speakers.
I have Bose outside by my pool. The nice thing about these Bose outdoor speakers are that you do not have to turn up the volumn loud to punch the sound through outside, you can have conversational talk and still get nice quality music and sound.
Absolutely love these speakers. Easy to install & work great with my Sonos amp. I decided to use the banana plugs when connecting the wire.

Not happy with the bass sound of these but was OK. Speakers are hooked to a power amp. I have been a musician in bands running sound for years so everything appropriate wattage/ohms/amps, etc.

The speakers produce a rich sound which could be expected from larger and more expensive equipment - I'm delighted and happy to recommend these versatile speakers from BOSE.

Great Sound Beautiful Design Fitting In With Any Deco, Im Using The In My Gaming Room With Rich, Clear Deep Sound. Come With Very Nice Wall Mounts Too.
Fantastic sound for the money. Hooked them up to. Denon CEOL for the kitchen and it works superbly.
There is little low end bass but enough to create warm vocals so I would suggest if you like Abit of bass in your music or sound system then buy a separate subwoofer.
