- Detachable and good length cable. In fact they come with two cables, one with in-line controls.
- The range of frequencies is more than adequate with sub and bass frequencies being well presented, and mid and high frequencies are crisp and clear.
- They are crystal clear at all frequencies. The Mezes are slightly less precise across the board, especially the bass where a little wooliness is detectable on really bass-heavy tracks.
- Great quality headphones. The drivers in these headphones are extremely efficient. No distortion at extremely high volumes and very efficient with an equalizer.
- The Meze 99 Classics have struck a really fun, musical balance between the different frequency ranges.
- They were very well balanced and have a lot of detail in the highs and just the right amount of bass for me.
- Build quality is top notch, I mean top of tops. This thing is an elegant tank.
- Bass is very accented. Base is a little boomy to be honest. EQ that out, and you're golden.
- Mids are great, though quite far back. Highs are a touch recessed compare to base but present and clear.
- The microphone is terrible because my interlocutor hears everything around me but not me.
