BlitzWolf (BW-BS3) Sport
Capture the Right Moments
The BlitzWolf BW-BS3 Sport can do pretty much anything and everything. You can use this device as a mini tripod, tabletop tripod, and selfie stick. You'll be able to easily take selfies and group photos using most cameras and smartphones. You can use the Bluetooth remote to take pictures standing 10 metres away from the camera. The 1/4" mounting screwhead is able to tighten the camera, keeping the cam stable and secure, whilst the aluminium alloy stick and non-slip footpad keeps the tripod stable enough to record videos or facetime with family/friends using the remote.
There are four ways you can rotate this device. First, the phone holder can rotate 203 degrees. Second, there's the 180-degree adjustable knob. Also, the clamp and the head rotate 360 degrees, so you'll be able to move the device however you want, selecting horizontal/vertical camera modes to ensure the best angles.
There's not much to add here. The product's flaws are pretty much limited to the fact that the charging cable is somewhat inconvenient.
Apart from that, the BlitzWolf BW-BS3 Sport can be taken to most events. You can take this device to most trips and capture various exciting moments, from weddings and graduations to surfing and snowboarding.
Mpow (XRMPPA108AB)
Choose the Right Angle
The Mpow XRMPPA108AB-UKAA2 (really rolls off the tongue, wouldn't you say?) is comfortable and efficient. The device will let you take selfies however you want. You can use the stick and capture them that way, you can also use the Bluetooth remote to capture shots/shoot videos 10 metres away from this implement. You'll be able to detach the tripod to advance control and increase support.
The non-slip feet will let you position the tripod onto most surfaces without worrying about keeping the camera balanced and secure. At the same time, the rubber grip handle will let you comfortably hold the stick even with wet hands. The shutter release button will allow you to quickly attach and detach various gadgets to/from the stick.
The clamp rotates 225 degrees, whilst the phone holder can rotate 360 degrees, so you'll have no issues finding and securing the right angle. The stick will let you film/capture vertically and horizontally. As far as the product's shortcomings are concerned, the remote fits somewhat loosely into the holder, so it is not hard to lose that remote when you're not careful.
Besides that, the Mpow XRMPPA108AB-UKAA2 will make things so much easier. Also, its aluminium alloy construction makes the stick quite durable.
SYOSIN (EUK07STPN)
The Price that Doesn't Dictate the Rules
The SYOSIN EUK07STPN Tripod Selfie Stick is an affordable product with surprisingly impressive functionality/utility.
First, you'll be able to adjust the phone holder and easily find the best shooting angle. The smartphone mount doesn't rotate especially smoothly though but that's understandable when you take the price into account. The stick is foldable and as portable as they come, so you can drop this thing even into most pockets and carry the device without having to carry any bags.
Its length starts at 19 centimetres and extends to 70 centimetres, so you'll be able to select the distance and find the most flattering angles. The short length will be perfect for taking intimate shots, whilst the extended length will let you capture the surrounding scenery too.
Considering the price tag, we were pleasantly surprised that the people behind this long telescopic stick have managed to include a wireless Bluetooth remote too. The Bluetooth modules inside the remote and the stick will let you manipulate the camera from 10 metres.
Moreover, the tripod attachment comes equipped with non-slip feet, so you should be able to steady and secure the camera on most surfaces. Add to that the rubberised grip and you'll be able to take excellent photos no matter what.

BlitzWolf BW-BS10-K
Strong and Stable Across the Board
The BlitzWolf BW-BS10-K will not let you blitz wolves, so the name's somewhat misleading. Besides that though, there's not much this stick cannot do. The tripod attachment with non-slip feet will allow you to take planned and prepared photos, placing the device onto any surface. Also contributing towards the comfort cause is the rotational clamp that lets you easily adjust and find the best angle so that you can take group blinding group photos. You can extend this monopod's length from 19.5 centimetres to considerable 82.5 centimetres, switching between intimate shots and wide angles to capture more scenery.
On the construction side, the entire stick is made from high-strength aluminium, which means you do not have to worry about rust, corrosion, and deformation. The tripod attachment has been reinforced too, able to hold <15 kilogrammes. Following the standard playbook deployed across most premium models, this product is also shipped with a removable Bluetooth remote that has a shutter release button and lets you take pictures from ~10 metres.
What we'd like to see added to the next model is a battery charge indicator because, right now, you cannot tell when the battery is low or fully charged. Aside from that, the BlitzWolf BW-BS10-K can tussle with the best monopods, keeping the price low and performance high.
Yoozon (AB601)
From 16 to 69 Centimetres
The Yoozon AB601 is basic. The stick costs less than 8 quid, so expecting much from this one would be ill-advised. Nonetheless, considering what it is, the device is pretty good. First, its one-piece integrated storage design lets you collapse it down to 16.5 centimetres, small enough to squeeze this selfie stick inside most pockets.
Measuring 133 grammes weight-wise, it is also fairly lightweight, so you can spend quite some time holding the device with any smartphone attached without experiencing noticeable hand fatigue. The model's adjustable holder stretches from 2.2 inches (~5.5 centimetres) to 3.6 inches (~9 centimetres), so, again, any smartphone will do. From 16.5 centimetres, the stick can extend as long as 69.5 centimetres, which is quite impressive since most monopods that can extend to ~70 centimetres usually start at ~20. From the build standpoint, the integrated rubber mat will protect the phone from falling, that's one. Two, the stick rotates 90 degrees, so you can switch between shooting vertically and horizontally.
In short, you can stick with this stick as long as you what you need is a selfie stick and not some 5-in-1 device that you can use as a mini tripod or tabletop tripod. For the price, this monopod is nothing to complain about.

What Is a Selfie Stick?
Nowadays almost every person has got a smartphone with a built-in camera that is capable of taking a high-quality photo of beautiful scenery or your family, friends, etc. But the present-days photo trends acquaint us with selfie, welfie, twofie, threefie, ussie, relfie, and other fancy photos.
The crucial feature in making such pics is a monopod or a so-called selfie stick. This item is actually a great photography accessory for travellers, photography fans, and everyone who wants to take the best shots of himself/ herself.
The best selfie sticks offer you an ability to position your gadget beyond the normal reach of the arm and, thus, make a perfect selfie or a group photo and capture all the background. Using a monopod, you can be sure that everyone fits in a photo since this accessory provides the framing flexibility. We do recommend you to opt for a selfie stick that will definitely help you capture the best moments of your life.
We'd also recommend you to look through our reviews of car phone holders, mobile printers, stylus pens, and iPhone camera lenses which will definitely enhance the efficiency of your mobile devices.
What Features to Compare
Compatibility and Mounting
Selfie sticks today can work with almost all available operating systems, but you should still read the manual carefully to be sure about the compatibility of the stick with your devices. There are models that are designed to be used with action cameras only and there are those that can be used with all digital devices.
Aside from compatibility with OS, consider whether a selfie stick can be adjusted in the width to hold both smaller and larger smartphones. Another recommendation is that you look for models with either rubberised clamps or a rubberised bracket. These will secure the gadget enabling you to take photos while you move. In case you plan to use a monopod with a camera, it'd be best to buy a stick with a metal screw to ensure safe use of the cam.
Connection and Material
Regarding connection options, there are the two following ways: via a 3.5mm jack and Bluetooth.
The advantages of Bluetoooth-enabled models are evident. They allow you to quickly connect to a phone, and they use no cables, so there's nothing to get in your way. The trade-off, they need to be recharged sometimes, so it's important to remember to do it timely.
With cable options, things are a bit simpler, though you'll still need to keep a cable with you and avoid damaging it.
Aside from these two options, there are selfie sticks for action cameras. The remarkable feature of these is that they can work without needing to be connected directly to the device.
Moving on, check out the materials of the product. Selfie sticks can be made of aluminium, plastic or metal alloys. Which one will be best for you will depend on how and where you plan to use your selfie stick most often. In general, aluminium models are considered the most optimal solution since they are rust-resistant, durable and lightweight.
Usability
In order for the monopod to be convenient in use, consider if it has the following extras:
- Camera button - it will perform the function of a timer and enable you to take a picture at one quick press of a button.
- Remote - with the help of a remote control, it will be easier to take pictures of groups of people. Plus, you will have an option to zoom in/out as well as quickly switch between photo/video modes and front/rear cameras without touching the monopod.
In addition, a selfie stick should be the right size to carry it in your bag or even pocket and allow you to extend its length for taking scenery and landscapes. It is also convenient if the stick has a rubberised handle to provide a comfortable and firm grip. Some models feature a special swing bracket or pull-off clips to offer you a quick way of adjusting your phone position to shoot pictures at angles. Keep these things in mind when you choose a selfie stick for yourself.
