- The display is very good and the colours a vivid and the camera makes good picture.
- It struck me beautiful design, especially with shiny effect. And the display was generally amazing.
- The screen has an excellent oleophobic coating, plus the glass itself is such that the finger glides nicely across the display.
- In the automatic brightness adjustment mode, the screen has a brightness of up to 700 nits, which is not a record, but good.
- The Nokia 8 has no user option to adjust the display white balance.
- Awesome phone, great display, built like a tank.
- The screen is a huge improvement over my OnePlus 2, the colours pop (perhaps a bit too much, it seemed over saturated at first but I've gotten used to it) and I like the 18:9 screen as I read a lot of web pages.
- The screen doesn't have a notch which is a big plus for me. The screen is crisp and has good viewing angles too.
- Huge 6 inch screen which is bright and vibrant without being overly saturated.
- Great for media consumption thanks to its large high quality HD+ screen, large memory capacity and long lasting battery.
- Excellent performance in games and when working in applications. Using the whole day I did not notice any deterioration in work.
- The processor shows amazing data. I am very glad that I bought this phone because I can play without any delay.
- The processor shows good performance in applications and games.
- The bad points in my opinion is that though this has a very fast processor the phone seems to lag for a few seconds more than it should when on the Internet etc.
- A year later, I noticed that in demanding games the back cover heats up. Very bad.
- Great stock software and powerful Snapdragon 660 which is battery efficient. It's the full package.
- It handles multitasking well and I often have 30+ apps running in the app switcher.
- I've played some PUBG mobile and it is very smooth at medium settings and it doesn't thermal throttle with extended play which is more than good enough for me.
- Snapdragon 660 processor and 4GB of ram. I haven't noticed a single moment of slowdown whilst using the phone at all.
- Processor is not good enough even for normal daily use. Don't install any app for fluent use.
- Dual-sensor rear camera with interesting software. It's taking amazing photos.
- Software and camera are both also great. Definitely worth buying.
- Camera is decent. Good light conditions give some really nice results.
- Again I have used the nokia help line as i had a problem with not being able to get the video camera to work.
- Camera could be better. Blurry pictures unfortunately.
- Decent camera and great build quality and look and feel overall.
- The camera is very decent for a smart phone camera. The photos have a surprising amount of latitude but sometimes render over sharpened.
- Nice camera features, no lag, perfect for a day to day usage.
- Camera is very good, better than my old 1050 which back in the day was the single best phone camera.
- Camera not as good as I had hoped, colours and clarity not as good as Samsung.
- Nokia carry on making phones like this with the clean operating system I will be buying only Nokia from now on.
- The headphone jack is superb, it allows you to listen to music without any interference.
- I was very pleased with the quick charge of the device. Now I don’t think about how much longer I have to wait until fully charged.
- All the phone functions are repeated. It’s a pity that there are no hugely unique features.
- I was very upset when I found out that this phone is not waterproof.
- The fingerprint scanner is fast and accurate and I really love the placement on the back which has proven to be very natural.
- So far it's been perfect. Fast unlocking with fingerprint, charges quickly, lasts longer than all day, snappy response to all my apps, sounds good with headphones.
- It's super responsive and the fingerprint scanner works very quickly and has removed the most annoying thing about my old phone; entering the pin code.
- The fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate. Sound quality is also good and loud enough though dual-speakers would have been nice.
- Rear mounted fingerprint sensor- very accurate. Nothing extra-ordinary here though.
- When using the device for calls within an hour, browsing the web, communicating in instant messengers and social networks, it is enough for one light day.
- Regarding the battery, I can only say positive that for the entire time of use the phone has never been discharged completely and the battery has not heated up.
- Great battery. With moderate use, enough for a day, and sometimes more.
- Unfortunately, the HMD Global does not even indicate approximate operating modes and the expected time in each of them with a fully charged battery.
- I was very upset when I found out that there was no wireless charging.
- It is an excellent phone, the battery life is great which is really important for me.
- Battery life is incredible, i'm getting between 5 and 6 hours of screen on time.
- The battery is large, the camera does its job, the screen is ok, the build quality is excellent.
- The battery life surprisingly long even when doing consuming activities like Sat Nav or watching videos.
- The camera is too slow to start and below the quality I expected.
