It sounds very good. I am hearing much more detail and even listening to music without pictures.
The sound performance of the TV5 is very good and a huge improvement over the TV sound quality

The sound output is very clear, the dialogue is crisp and the bass is immersive without being overpowering.
This unit is very very loud and may not be for you if you want to use at very low volumes at a night time.
Sound wise, it gives out a "balanced yet meaty" tonality, not an overpowering bass, but enough to make the spitfires in Dunkirk sound like they were tearing through my front room.
The vocals are much clearer, you can hear a lot more detail and those deep based sounds are a wow.
It also has a very nice natural sound when used as a bluetooth speaker for music.

It looks good under tv and it sounds fantastic
The design blends in well with other items, looks very good, well pleased.
The television sits comfortably on top of the sound system and the sound quality is outstanding.
I already owned a TV2 but due to buying a bigger television which wouldn't sit on top of it. I decided to buy the TV5, which was the perfect size.
I did consider buying a sounds but opted for this as it sits nicely underneath the TV. Also looks good.
The big problem with the TV5 are the plastic lugs on the grille on the front, as mentioned by others. How pathetic to make such a good unit with such a poor design fault.

Build wise, the unit is weighty and well finished, no panel gaps or cheap feeling plastics
I am delighted with this product. It also looks the biz!
Excellent sound quality. Solid build. A massive improvement to the tv internal speakers.
The quality of finish is good and solid, with a rich and full sound.
It has a compact dimension (unlike its ungainly big brother m4) and is able to re-create the same award winning sound.

The bass on this thing is full and deep. As per the professional reviews i tend to keep it on the 'Music' preset.
Great base and more than enough volume to fill a room.easy to set up and it will learn your TVs remote.
The bluetooth connectivity is useful - for music and radio from hand-held devices.
Initially I'd mess with the sound and sub woofer settings but like myself most will stick it on cinema and forget to change it again.
The quality of the sound especially the bass is really good and does not lose definition with the volume up.

Operation is simple and colour coded with an light indicator at the top front of the unit.
Movie EQ is the default sound and its really good for movies and I was surprised that Music (classical and rock) is best left on Movie EQ too.
Beautifully balanced stereo sound. Voices are much clearer (my hearing impaired other half no longer needs subtitles).
Voice is clear yet the bass is still heavy and it also sounds fantastic with music via Bluetooth Spotify premium.
The base is strong and vocals clear. The ability to churn out loud music when played is an added advantage.

It was easy to install. It works seamlessly with our Sony 4k TV, blu-ray player and Virgin media V6 box
The wife loves the fact that she can Bluetooth her phone to it too. In all, very pleased.
I also enjoy using the unit with bluetooth and streamed music- so much so that I will now store all my CD's out of sight.
I can plug my old ipod classic dock into the phono sockets of the TV5 so it does everything I want
Music from my iPad sounds good with Bluetooth on.

I set it up out of the box in less than 5 minutes using an optical toslink cable (not supplied) and other than adjusting a couple of switches at the rear of the unit, it was ready to go.
Pleasingly it automatically turns on and off when I turn on my TV - similar operation can be achieved using the HDMI (ARC) cable (included) if compatible with your TV.
Bluetooth/NFC operation is also very simple using the pairing button at the back
You can also connect other devices via bluetooth so great for listening to audio books or music from your iPad.
Very easy to set up , connect with hdmi ( to arc input ) , make sure your tv audio out is set to 2 speaker setting and that’s it .
