Sound quality is great for something of this price and size, easily good enough for most people.
I find the built in subs enhance music playback too, bass lines are cleanly reproduced.
After having it for a couple of weeks now I am well pleased, it has a full all round sound , great deep base sound from the two subwoofers , midrange is sharp and clear.
This is a great sound bar with the usual Yamaha crisp sound.
The Yamaha YSP1600 doesn't need any additions, it gives clear resonant sound with plenty of power.

Had this about a week now. Really good bass. Very nice low sound.
Vocals are clearer, there is no distortion, and the bass packs a hell of a punch considering there's no separate sub.
Very good sound bar , crystal clear and plenty of bass.
It still sounds great even at lower volumes, which you'll probably want to stick to unless you really hate your neighbours.
Absolutely awesome sound bar. Worth every penny. Clear speech and fantastic bass even without the sub woofer.

The YSP-1600 is a great soundbar overall. It's quite wide (about the same as a 42" television), but the tradeoff is that there is no need for a separate subwoofer
Very happy with the Yamaha ysp 1600. Good build quality and nice sound for my needs.
Bought this recently! This bar has impressed me with it's high quality sound and it's neat minimalistic design.
It's well built, doesn't look too cheap which is worth bearing in mind as it sits in front of the tv you are looking at all the time.
Purchased this a week ago to complement my 65" 4k TV. Fits easily on the wall with the supplied brackets.

The unit itself is quite heavy but very solid.
All in all, I'm very pleased with what I've heard so far & with the look of the soundbar & would recommend it if you're upgrading or thinking of giving a soundbar a go.
Nice and sleek. I've not fitted it to the wall yet but looks like the brackets will do that job.
Great sound ,looks good under TV, very happy with this soundbar.
It is so easy to setup! Has great volume and sound, looks amazing.

Depending on the design of your TV set, you might be able to perch it completely or partially on top of the soundbar with a bit of creativity - great for arranging a compact living room.
Speech is crystal clear even when not using the ‘clear speech’ functionality.
I bought this soundbar a week ago and I am very pleased with the sound and features.
This is a brilliant soundbar with lots of settings for getting the sound that you want, with presets like movies and sports.
I bought it especially for the clear voice setting which is a better clear voice sound than other well known makes I have tried.

Samsung HW-MS650 All in One Smart Soundbar

I've only had it for one day but I've given it a test using Sky, Netflix, Amazon Video & Amazon Music & Blu-ray & all platforms work very well, I am very impressed.
The volume level changes depending on what you're watching. With Sky, I could go up to 40, with Netflix & Amazon Video, 21 was fine & with a Blu-ray film I could go as low as 9 & it was still quite loud.
The difference is very noticeable and creates a good atmosphere when viewing certain programmes.
This is a huge improvement on the TV speakers. The bass response is impressive even though there is not a separate bass speaker.
This sound bar is great for its size. The bass is better than I expected. It offers a variety of sounds for what different types of programs.

Setup with an ARC cable was as easy as it gets and Bluetooth works out of the box
Very happy with it, easy setup and does the job very well
Installation was simple using optical cable supplied and results are excellent. Connection to my DVD player by HDMI cable was also simple and results excellent especially when playing musical CDs.
A super system without the associated boxes and wires. Just what I wanted.
The arc link feature on my TV is used to great effect minimising cabling and the MusicCast app is very versatile.

Samsung HW-MS650 All in One Smart Soundbar

I have this teamed up with a Samsung 4K UHD HDR+ 65" TV & a Samsung 4K UHD HDR Blu-ray player.
I have connected the soundbar to the Samsung One Connect box ( which connects to the TV ) via HDMI ( ARC ).
Installation was a snap in my case - plugged it in, hooked it up to a spare HDMI-ARC output from my TV, and that was it.
Easy to set up and was working straight out the box in about 5 seconds of switching it on. I've got a Digital optical connection to the telly.
Pleased with the soundbar which is working well Bluetooth.
