Pioneer well built direct drive turntable. It looks really nice.
The feature I like is being able to leave the unit on but stopping the platter to change records.
Plays 45's,33's and 78's. This turntable has amazing sound

Pioneer PLX-500-K Turntable

I've been waiting for years for Pioneer to come out with a new higher end turntable with all the features I want for an affordable price.. and this is it! This thing is very well built.
This is a very good choice for a regular vinyl listener also who just wants a new,well built turntable. Highly recommend!
After doing research I found this to be an excellent option for the price point, with a great mix of features and a robust build.
One thing really noteworthy about the Plx-500 is the high quality (large) sound isolating feet and sturdy mechanical design. At its price point, its a true value.
Just received my new turntable today, seems to be excellent build quality for this price range of turntables.

Heavy and built like a tank. Every dial and widget is high quality and seem to be made to last.
The solid cast aluminum body makes the table feel heavy and professional. Good size and weight.
The weight keeps the table from vibrating, and the feet are adjustable to accommodate not-so-even surfaces.
Compact and motionless turntable due to its weight. Great clear sound.
The turntable is heavy so it is designed for a permanent location, it will be difficult to move.

It is absolutlie brill the sound is great and quality aswell
This turntable delivers amazing sound.bass and treble sound great and very clear good sound on my newer records
Very little background noise and hiss, clear precise sound
I don't know if it scratches or how it links up with a dj rig but I know it sounds great hooked up to my Onkyo system.
Audio playback quality is also excellent and should satisfy the average audiophile.

Sounds great and everything's working fine. There was no auiliary weight for the tonearm.
Stunning sound from a beautiful record deck. Great product, well packed.
The decks work beautifully with a high compliance cartridge.
It's great sound quality as well as its perfectly accurate speed and pitch control.
The only problem was that the arm holding the cartridge was not properly secured and the needle got damaged during the transportation.

I DO love pioneer,and ths turntable is great.and doesnt have all that other garbage that those djs love to play with there fingers.
It has pitch control, conterweight, anti-skate, s shaped tone arm, removable cartridge and headshell, built in preamp
Bought it for my husband's birthday, he loved it! He used to DJ now he can play all his vinyls. All his oldies collection.
I recommend this turntable to any one who wants to learn how to DJ with vinyl or those who just want to play records on a cool looking peice of equipment.
I do like also the USB feature to digitize my records into MP3.

The pitch fader is smooth is a baby's bottom and very stiff - fantastic for precise mixes.
Love this turntable. Great sound, accurate as all get-out. All the old records in my collection are enjoying new life!
The speed is dead on accurate and the sliding speed adjuster is easy to use. Tracking weight is light enough for audiophile vinyl.
I play a lot of hip hop records and the bass is there with force along with the highs and mids.
The cover was cracked and the needle was broken. It is very Disappointing.
