What customers say about "Key Specs"
Zwilling Pro (38401-161-0) Chef's Knife, Steel, Silver/Black
- Quality materials and craftsmanship, sharp as a razor, good ergonomics.
- Blade shape makes this knife ideal for every kitchen job except paring, and the 6 inch length means you never have to go camping, fishing, or on vacation without a good kitchen knife.
- Very sharp and handy. Good length and curve. Elegant look.
- The lack of a full bolster makes it easy to sharpen the full length.
- The curved transition to the blade might make storage in some blocks a bit unsightly.
Wüsthof Classic Ikon Cook's Knife, 8-Inch
- I was looking for a heavy chopper and found it. It just glides through food, slices, cuts and chops with ease, from fine veg to cooked meats, this is a knife that does it all.
- The Wusthof name with the promise of German quality in materials and manufacturing tradition tipped the scales and I do not regret my decision one bit.
- The blade has just enough heft behind it to make heavy tasks easy work.
- I can't claim to be a pro chef with experience using lots of different knives but this is an extremely sharp knife, easy to sharpen and stays sharp.
- The blade has to be sharpened after a few days of use.

- Great knife! Wonderful weight and fantastically sharp edge! I use it on everything!
- It has a little more weight to it than what I was used to but it feels very nice and balanced.
- The weight and heft of the knife feels very bad, it's too heavy for me.
