Go with Ceramic
It’s important to stay warm, especially when the wind outside is howling like a pack of wolves and the snow is making traffic a nightmare. Such weather is the perfect chance to stay in, kick back, and turn on the Pro Breeze Ceramic small fan heater. This little gizmo will warm you right up and do so without drying out the air. That way you’ll be cosy in your home without feeling like the air is stifling.
The Pro Breeze Mini heater uses a ceramic plate, which gets heated by electricity and, as the fans blow on it, emanates heat all over the room. This is a safer and smarter choice than standard glowing filament models as the casing doesn’t get hot (due to a lack of contact with the heating element) and the plate retains warmth longer. Thus, you can use in shorter periods and still get the room toasty.
Speaking of temperatures, the Pro Breeze Mini has 4 main modes - low heating with 1200 W consumption and high with 2000 W consumption plus two of the same but with the added benefit of 60° oscillation. The latter keeps the warmth spread a bit broader so if you have a particularly large room to heat, turn it on. As for the former two, the low mode is good for getting the temperature up over a long term while keeping the fat off of the electricity bills while the high mode is perfect for quickly heating up if you’ve spent a bit of time out in bad weather.
Worth the Asking Price
Admittedly, you might be looking at the price of the Pro Breeze Mini and wondering why it’s worth more than some of the similar competitors. Well, aside from the excellent choice of heating element, this model also boasts good overheat protection and tip-over shut-off, which means you won’t ever end up smelling burnt plastic or have to deal with a rug getting burnt just because a pet knocked the appliance over.
Plus, you can use the handy function and thermostat dials to get the temperature exactly where you want it without ending up with more power consumed than strictly necessary. And the ergonomic carrying handle lets you move the heater around easily without worrying about dropping it. We do feel like a cool breeze function wouldn’t have hurt, especially at this price point, but we’d be lying if we said the Pro Breeze Mini isn’t already a worthy product.
And that’s exactly what it comes down to - if you have the means to get it, the Pro Breeze Mini is a powerful, safe, and energy-efficient heater that will keep your home cosy and warm. Despite a few omissions, it’s one of the more top-notch models we’ve seen and it’s certainly up there in terms of speed and efficiency.

Thin Shape, Smooth Curves, Polished Accents
The De'Longhi DCH7032 embodies the company's philosophy and approach towards fan heaters as well as the next model. The clean lines, the thin shape, the polished accents, and the smooth curves make this unit even more elegant than its already handsome predecessors. To add more, the model comes equipped with rounded edges, protecting kids and pets from themselves.
As alike as these heaters usually look, there's something about this one, something charming yet almost executive, something with the all-white housing, the black grille, and the pronounced dials atop the unit that lets this model sit comfortably within most interiors, even the more expensive ones.
Of course, aesthetics is not the only thing this product is bringing to the table. When you're talking about De'Longhi heaters, you're almost always talking about a respectable output. Drawing 2200 watts, this model follows suit, covering medium-sized rooms with relative ease. The company's dust filters always contribute as well, cleaning the outflow and keeping the environment more habitable. Needless to say, the model incorporates two heat settings, following the usual playbook deployed across ceramic fan heaters.
Aside from heating, the unit can use the fan alone, providing ventilation when the temperature is anything but cold. This is also where this one somewhat drops the ball though. Unlike its more expensive relatives', the heater's fan is a little weak, something that you'll notice when the room gets uncomfortably hot and you need extra ventilation.
On the plus side, when the premises require heating, the unit works like a charm, with the oscillating base ensuring even heat distribution across the room. Still, you can always turn the oscillation feature off and, as always, you can adjust the temperature using the thermostat dial.
Electronic Tip-Over Switch
On the safety front, the tip-over switch here is not mechanical but electronic, turning off this appliance in case it falls down but, with the electronic approach, maintaining the previous settings. The anti-frost function is electronic as well, protecting the unit from low temperatures.
All things considered, assuming that the premises that require heating do not measure more than 65 square metres, the De'Longhi DCH7032 will rise to the challenge, increasing the temperature inside the room to an optimal level and maintaining this level without breaking a sweat. Plus, this might be the company's most attractive budget model yet.

Perfect Way to Keep Warm
With chilly days happening in any season of the year, there’s always a chance of you waking up in a cold room and shivering while you’re looking for your slippers. If you want to save yourself from that unpleasant situation, take a look at the best fan heater available - the De’Longhi HTF3033, a powerful appliance that can keep you warm even during the coldest night.
Brings You Fresh Air on Hot Days
If you want the combined convenience of a heater and a fan, one that can warm you up when it’s cold outside and freshen up a room when it’s too hot, this is a stellar option. The De’Longhi HTF3033 features a cool blow option, which will be a godsend on a hot summer day or a humid night. The device emits a gentle refreshing breeze that can save you from a stifling room or just help you relax after a long and difficult day.
Of course, all of these functions come at a small cost as the device is, indeed, quite large. You’ll have to position it carefully, as you surely don’t want anyone tripping over it or stepping on it. But it’s easy to put away when it’s not in use and you could just slide it under the bed until a chilly or hot day comes again.

Hey There, Handsome
Fan heaters (or heaters in general, for that matter) do not have to look good. As much as we believe that, these appliances take more space in the room than most decoration pieces and even some furniture, so when the heater looks cheap, the room starts looking a little cheap as well. Fortunately, the Pro Breeze PB-H07 looks anything but cheap.
On the contrary, its tall but slim stature looks unapologetically cool, with the clean outline understanding what modern interiors are usually all about and the grey/silver-ish housing meshing well with most settings. The front grille also works quite well with the otherwise uniform body, not just serving its primary purpose but also making the heater's appearance a touch less boring than it would have been with a light grille.
As you should be able to tell from the photos, the unit rests on a nice little stand. Flip the stand you will find a few non-skid feet that let you place this appliance on slippery surfaces without worrying that the unit might slip or slide.
Go in the opposite direction and, at the heater's top, the model features two easy-to-use dials. The first dial will let you switch between 4 operation modes, including low heat (1000 watts), high heat (2000 watts), stationary, and oscillating modes. The second dial is the thermostat dial. With it, you can adjust the temperature output.
Perfectly Luggable
Construction-wise, all that's left is the cutout behind the unit, serving as a pretty comfortable carry handle. Needless to say, the handle will allow you to carry this appliance from room to room with one hand. Considering that the unit weighs modest 2.5 kilogrammes, even the least muscle-bound individuals should have no trouble lifting and moving this fan heater. Likewise, measuring 20 x 20 x 52 centimetres, the model will not impose on that precious room space people normally want to conserve.
Naturally, as fan heaters go, the unit also includes a fan-only function, meaning that it will prove useful even when the days get hot. What is a little less welcome is the noise that this appliance can produce sometimes. When you activate the oscillating feature, the noise levels start approaching 55-60 decibels, making 'em noticeable. Somewhat offsetting this little downside is the fact that the same oscillating feature can rotate 80 degrees, spreading the heat evenly across the room.
In short, assuming you don't mind the occasional noise, the Pro Breeze PB-H07 should fit you like a glove.

Not That Adorable
The Duronic FH2KW1 is almost adorable in its smallness. Measuring 26 x 19 x 11 centimetres, the model is hands-down the most compact unit within this lineup. In the same vein, weighing 1.23 kilogrammes, this is also the most lightweight fan heater on the list. Needless to say, the model enables easy relocation.
Besides its space-saving profile and lightweight body, this unit adds an integrated handle. To be a little more precise, what serves as the handle is this nice little cutout above the grille (in the back). Its appearance might not convey that but the 'handle' is fairly comfortable, letting you carry this petite unit even with a few fingers when necessary.
Obviously, you can put this small appliance anywhere, from floors to desks to countertops, from commercial mobile offices to reception/lobby areas to spare bedrooms. The model should even fit most bedside tables (no idea why you would want to place it there but it is the thought that counts, right?).
As desk space-friendly as it is, you'd presume that this is a pretty weak appliance. But that presumption would be wrong. No, despite commanding the smallest footprint, the model draws and outputs 2000 watts, which means that this heater should be able to keep the largest rooms quite warm (with its heating area measuring somewhere around 50 square metres depending on the layout).
Making Things Safer
Whilst we appreciate heater's small size almost in its entirety, we don't quite like the fact that the included power cord takes after the main unit. At 175 centimetres long, the cord will keep you a tad more tied to the mains than what we would describe as preferable. On the bright side, this little fellow is very safe. Using protective mesh grills, the unit covers its fan as well as the heating element, preventing burning/scalding accidents.
As per usual, the model comes equipped with an integrated overheat safety switch. When the switch senses something wrong, it will automatically shut the unit down, preventing the internal components from overheating. Also per usual is the tip-over/inversion switch. When the heater gets tipped over or laid on a side, the safety buttons underneath it are released, automatically shutting the appliance down once again.
Other than that, same as its more expensive and less compact peers, the model incorporates 2 heat settings (1000 and 2000 watts) and a fan-only function. Add to that the function dial, thermostat dial, and power indicator and you have yourself a fan heater that is compact in size but big in features.

What Is a Fan Heater?
A fan heater is a very simple heating appliance that is frequently used as an additional heat source for homes or offices. The major advantage of such a heater is that it offers the fastest way of heating the air. Meanwhile, in the summertime, the appliance can serve as a common fan that cools the indoor air. A simple operation principle and reasonable price are only a few of their advantageous features. There are some differences between these heaters, so we would recommend carefully reading the reviews and the What Features to Compare section. So, create a comfortable atmosphere in your home using one of the fan heaters we have already picked up for you! Likewise, you can get acquainted with infrared heaters.
If you'd like to create a cosy atmosphere not only inside your house but also outdoors, we suggest you take a look at this selection of patio heaters with the help of which you should be able to achieve this purpose.
What Features to Compare
Wattage and Heating element
All fan heaters include a heating element - either ceramic plates or a high resistant glowing filament. The glowing filament is heated up more and much faster, however, it dries out air and can smell when settled dust is burning. Ceramic heating elements, in particular plates, have a larger size of the surface area and don't dry the air. More importantly, they have better fire protection.
One of the vital features of fan heaters is a power output. The more powerful the appliance is the bigger area it can actually heat up. The calculation of the power should be based on 100W per 10 square meters. A smaller room will be heated to a set temperature quicker while a bigger space will need more time for this. Therefore, a compact fan heater is a better option for small premises.
Operating mode. Control
Each fan heater has several working modes and it's a really beneficial feature. Generally, apart from a heating mode, the appliance can work as a common cooler. In most cases, heating can be adjustable - you can get desired temps by changing the power. Some models also support ECO mode, they determine necessary power depending on the set temperature. The cooling mode is got by a working fan when a heating element is switched off. The desired temperature in a room can be chosen by either a mechanical or electronic thermostat.
Extra features
Also, for user's convenience and more efficient heating, some models are equipped with additional features. A rotating base, for example, will allow heated air to spread around the room quicker, reaching the most remote areas. Many models are highly protected and have special sensors that switch off the heater in case of overheating or falling over. An automatic antifreeze feature will maintain a minimal temperature inside unheated spaces to prevent freezing. Certain models are also equipped with special filters that free the passed air from dust, and humidifiers that prevent drying air. Fan heaters that feature a built-in timer will switch the appliance off after the set period of time.
Did you know?
Some Fun Facts:
Excessively hot or cold temperature can cut your work output by as much as 45%, so be sure to adjust the fan heater in your office correctly.
Nowadays, we use pipelines to transport gas for heating. However, this modern technology is actually older than you’d think, first used in China sometime around 500 B.C. They used bamboo to transport the gas, though, not metal like we do.
The Romans, notorious for their advanced technologies, were the first ever nation to think of a luxury that still isn’t exactly so widespread: heated floors. Of course, their design was simple - people laid the stones that composed the floor directly over a source of heat.
The hottest ever naturally occurring temperature was fixed over a century ago in 1913 in Death Valley, California. It was 57°C.
It is actually possible to use the Earth’s natural underground temperature to keep your house heated, kind of like the Romans did. But, of course, electric fan heaters would suit your needs much better.
The majority of houses around the world use gas or electricity for heating. Wood or coal usage is quite rare, less than 15%.
Old radiators were incredibly heavy as they were made using cast iron. It’s lucky that method was abandoned, otherwise, you wouldn’t be able to move your heater at all!
Using an air conditioner or heater too much can actually be detrimental, as hot days seem hotter to those people who are used to air conditioning. Conversely, using your heating device too often and for too long on even a slightly cold day will lead to the same results. So be sure to use your heater only when you really need it.
How Does a Fan Heater Work?
These devices operate by running a stream of air over a source of heat or cold. Usually, these are called heating elements and they are either metallic or ceramic. There isn’t much difference in which element you choose as they both work quite well and it’s largely up to personal preference.
The majority of heaters have built-in thermostats to regulate the amount of heat they put out. This allows you to control how dry and hot the air will be when it comes out of the device. However, the more basic models might not have this option and they will just heat up the room in one setting without any possible adjustments. Thus, if you want fine temperature control, it’s better to pick out the best fan heater possible.
Temperature Control Leads to Progress
Do you have a favourite film? Well, you can thank air conditioners for that, as they were one of the key attractions that drew people to the cinemas after the population got over the initial wonder caused by the new art form. Movie theatres adapted the technology faster than most other places and people flocked to the nearby cinema to both enjoy a new film and get a respite from the boiling sun. Who knows, if this little advantage didn’t get the audience in their seats, perhaps studios wouldn’t have the money necessary to bring us our favourite flicks.
But even more significant progress was made as the arrival of air cooling allowed people to settle more densely in hotter areas, especially in the USA and the western parts of Asia. Without a way to keep cool, few people would risk life in such conditions and now these places are sprawling cities with a huge population. All thanks to the magic of temperature regulation. The same goes for colder regions like the north of Canada or Russia, where harsh winters can’t scare away people anymore because everybody has a cosy fan heater for warming up.
