- Unless you are some super gamer, ultra power user with some crazy fast and expensive computer, this hard drive will be quite sufficient for you in terms of speed.
- Overall its an amazing SSD, really fast and great read and write speeds
- I put a 480gb version in my 5 year old Lenovo T420 with Windows 10 & 8gb of memory and the thing is amazingly fast!
- Granted, I knew that this Drive I was purchasing was by far not the best but by far not the worse!
- Great ssd. Has been reliable so far. I have an evo 850 on another desktop and I cannot tell the speed difference of anyone cares.
- Fast transfer speeds, pushed GBs of data in second
- In comparing this drive to the SanDisk Extreme 510 Portable SSD, 480GB, I can see no difference in speed or size.
- I use it for everything copying video files games and ill be using it when i go on vacation it's small, light and super rugged. the transfer speeds on this thing are amazing!
- The R/W speed is as expected for a modern SSD, but what really makes this unique is the form factor.
- Speed - can't really comment on (bottlenecks are probably elsewhere with my applications) but it works fine for me.
- This SSD was priced great when I bought it... It features the latest type of memory which is more reliable than the previous type for SSDs. I
- The Ultra II is a bit newer SSD with designed mid-level performance (for a SSD) and economy pricing.
- More importantly this drive will start to degrade data when it nears it's low design life and if kept in a hot area, will degrade, not good.
- Using less RAM, fan is much quieter, boot time is under 20 seconds, loading programs and opening files are instantaneous. No spin wheels for me anymore.
- My PC only supports SATA3, and this drive is backwards compatible with the older SATA. Highly recommend a SSD to bring life to an older PC.
- The drive is suspended in mid-air by the cable. I find other SanDisk products to be well thought out, but this cable problem is truly a swing and a miss.
- Small, rugged, fast and secure. I had great luck for the first while with these.
- The SSD does come with an included black USB3 cable which is just about 8.5" in length and all the connections are nice and secure (perhaps a little too tight?)
- The drive comes with some "Vault" software for extra security that I don't need. I just save my data outside of the vault on the drive.
- Everything works perfect my taxes are done. You do have the option of encrypt and everything which I think is cool it does come with the pass code to access the hard drive so it is very secure.
