- Picture quality is great - followed the advice of others on here and turned on SmartEco mode for the lamp which seems to further improve contrast.
- Very good projector. 1080p video, I have a screen of 3.5x2 meters more or less in HD.
- Very bright. It is my first projector, and from all the reviews I have found online, this projector was the best, and it is!
- Very nice projector - light, great image and strong light output.
- Crystal clear, I have noticed no rainbow effect at all.
- I have now been using this for 3 months and am happy to say this is a very good projector. 2D and 3D movies play really nicely.
- Fantastic 3d. The brighter screen really works well here. I suggest watching Hugo for a great 3d film.
- You can watch it during the day.No rainbow effect that I could see.
- Don't worry about DLP rainbows with this. They don't exist.
- The contrast is good and the black is black. It's very quiet and the color presets are handy.
- The item itself gave a really sharp image which was really good and blew me away.
- Colours are rich, image is very detailed and even projected directly onto a wall looks good. On a screen, it's a fantastic experience.
- We have it projecting onto a 120" screen, easily viewable in a lit room, in a dim room it's very watchable and in a darkened room it's addictive.
- Great quality. The best projector for the money. Picture is absolutely outstanding.
- Fantastic projector brilliant quality picture and easy to set up.
- I am very happy with it. The image quality is really good.
- I've had the use of the Optoma hd26 for over a year now and picture wise it's like being at high end cinema once calibrated.
- The picture is a noticeable improvement from my last projector Optoma HD230x which was and is still very good .
- Was very impressed with picture and ease of adjustments with remote control.
- The picture was crystal clear with clean motion and great contrast.
- The 3D performance. DLP lives up to its promise with zero artifacts or crosstalk and a beautiful image that is full of depth and stunning positive and negative parallax effects.
- I projected on a white wall initially and then I bought a screen, it was great on both. The 3d is for me better than the cinema.
- The 3d is like the cinema, together with my 100 inch projector screen i got a great set now!
- Have used everyday. Perfect for movies and gaming.
- With 3D, it is using 2 images on the screen in slightly different places and when they are viewed through 3D glasses the screen just disappears - it is beautiful!
- You feel you are inside the screen, it's amazing. Make sure you get real 3D blu-rays.
- Great beamer! i use it for gaming mostly and i love it!
- Optoma hd26 is lite in weight about 3.5lbs so if you want hang the projector over head no worries ..it's a good first time projector to start with for anyone getting in to home cinema.
- It is a good bit of kit.. the 3D works well with universal DLP glasses.
- Another great plus which made me choose this particular unit is the 6500 hour lamp life compared to the average projector lamp life of 2000 hours - over three times longer!
- Giant fifa with the lads or just any ps4 game and I've used my chromecast with it for BT sport to watch footy!
- Two HDMI hookups. Also has VGA, audio in/out etc.
- Works very well with Mac (with mandatory overpriced adapter of course) and PC.
- It has both HDMI and 15HD VGA inputs plus a whole lot more.
- I use it in my man cave for movies and for xbox 360/xbox one/ps3.
- In built speaker is surprisingly decent and you can even connect up computer speakers directly to the projector to jury-rig up a pseudo 5.1 speaker effect.
- I have a Sony BDPS3700 Blu-ray player connected via HDMI, and I am outputting audio via the 3.5mm headphone jack to 2 powered PA speakersLyxPro PA Speakers.
- I must say with the HDMI cord and it being projected onto a screen, it is pretty spectacular.
- I also had this connected to a PS2 using a separate adaptor, and it's awesome being able to play my old video games again.
- There are two HDMI ports - one of which is MHL compatible. This is one of the main things that attracted me to this projector.
