- Bright, bright image. If you are thinking outdoor movies like I am, this one is a winner due to the brightness.
- Great picture. I went straight for the good stuff and queued up some 1080P NFL videos. I wanted to see how fine the details looked when projected large, and I was certainly impressed.
- The resolution, contrast, and brightness are excellent. This makes a great projector for a large room.
- Resolution is also impeccable. You will see every iota of detail from your 1080p image sources.
- However if you have a smaller room (under 12ft) move along and buy a short throw projector.
- Crisp and Bright, definetly worth the dollar. Seems to flicker in SuperEco, but runs fine in Eco. Will update as time goes on.
- I bought this unit because it offered outstanding viewing qualities - high brightness resolution, high video and graphic's resolution, good pricing and portability.
- The vast array of options and features make this one of the best, if not, the best budget home theatre projector with a full 1080p native resolution.
- Excellent color reproduction , mamboing contrast , do very well in dark scenes.
- One of the reasons I went with this model was because of the higher brightness rating. I have it in my living room which has blinds over the windows, but theres still a decent amount of ambient light in the room in the middle of the afternoon.
- Rainbows are everywhere in high contrast scenes like credits on black background, my older DLP has none compared to this one.
- I Chose this as my projector for my budget given a few reasons being it is capable of great color saturation, 1080p full HD/3D with active glasses and 3D content, and it's moderately light weight.
- At a throw distance of about 10 feet, it looks amazing even with the sun shining in
- At normal viewing distances, you will not see much in the way of screen-door effect, perhaps only on the brightest material.
- Although, this projector performs well in my preferred specifications I did notice a moderate Rainbow Color Effect that is common with DLP projectors in this price range, the color wheel and lamp can create this effect, I found it noticeable every now and then but not irratating or annoying
- Another undesirable factor of this projector is the lamp life can drain quick if left unattended, given the DLP lamp is good for about 2 years or less before in need of replacement.
- I have it at a fairly good distance and its projecting a huge crip and color rich picture. Setup was super easy.
- It does have 60 frames per second and also a great picture for gaming or watching movies and shows
- I had been looking for a projector for awhile. The picture looks great on my 100" 16:9 screen. I'm glad I purchased it.
- Image in bright even scenes in uneven, but not that noticeable on other scenes.
- Not enough zoom for bedroom use. Image size does not gets to THX recommended 40 degrees viewing angle.
- You can hear the speakers pretty well indoors, but don't expect too much.
- The 10w onboard speaker is pretty powerful, considering.
- The fan noise is commendably low - in Eco mode, I could barely hear it, even when sitting next to the projector.
- NO ZOOM (Need a lot of space for a decent size screen)
- This would be a 5 star product if it had a zoom dial.
- The fan is still very noisy. And the onboard speaker resets to "on" every time I use it which is very annoying.
- longer lamp life of 8000 hour compared to about 5000 average on others
- I especially like that the projector has a USB port so that I can power my Amazon Fire stick directly from the projector.
- Decent speaker on it can be used occasionally but would need better speaker if watching movies
- The internal speaker is not the greatest. Voice sound clear and loud but anything else is bad, external speaker strongly recommended.
- Also the speaker is not great & I think the could've threw in some type of stand or mount but maybe I'm asking for too much now.
- There are two HDMI inputs, but one is concealed in a side compartment. This compartment is similar to the one on the PRO7827HD, but it lacks the micro USB power cable. So it might work for a streaming stick, but you're going to need a heck of a USB cable to power it.
- Will need to purchase an HDMI cable separately
- USB power is a must have for chromecast, amazon fire, or other usb peripherals
- It has a USB port to power up firestick
- Only 2 HDMI and no other inputs
- Only 2 HDMI ports and 2 audio ports. I wish they had included a few more ports.
