- I use this laptop daily, it's quick, has handled everything I've thrown at it so far from gaming, rendering and even running virtual machines.
- The screen is crystal clear and battery life is great. Also processor is amazing.
- Very powerful machine/excellent specs.
- Modern i7 processor, capable RAM capacity and dedicated graphics means that this can handle most current gen games on high graphic settings without suffering on frame rate.
- The i7-8750h is running frequency is quite low at 2.2Ghz, this means some games may crash when playing (during heavy gaming).
- This laptop has, at the time of this writing, the latest Intel Core i7 processor.
- Fast processors, great graphics, can play most games.
- Remaining qualities such as processor, graphics card is very good for high end gaming for a long time to come.
- However, no faster than very old laptops running single-core i7 processors.
- The processors temperature up to the high 80s and at times the 90s.
- The sd card reader works without a flaw oh and there’s no dead pixels that I can see all in all for me this is a fantastic device video plays fine through it.
- Great performance. I like 16GB of RAM. It's enough for all games.
- 16GB is enough for great performance in games.
- It's HDD+SDD. Nothing to complain about. Bootup time is sub 10 sec.
- Thanks to SSD, all my games run 2 times faster.
- The Helios 300 also comes with 16 GB DDR4 memory. I like it.
- 16GB of flash storage, is very high quality.
- The underside of the laptop has access for memory and the SSD. Good memory.
- Memory is something you'll want to upgrade.
- The laptop came with only 237 GB of memory space on the hard drive. That is a very low amount for a laptop.

- It’s very quiet even with its fans running full tilt.
- The screen is good at all sensible angles and the colours seem very good too.
- This laptop looks & feels expensive. I especially love the brushed chrome casing.
- Beautiful build quality - solid plastics all round.
- The GTX 1060 6GB RAM is able to handle just about anything you throw at it, coupled with the i7 8750H cpu & 16BG DDR4 RAM.
- I love the feature of just opening up a few screws and I can insert another drive in minutes.
- Incredible display that will keep up with any high end laptop.
- Really nice backlit keyboard that works well for gaming.
- Touchpad was okay when the drivers worked.
- Built-in mic was unusable out of the box - nobody could hear me.

Acer Predator Helios 300 (PH315-51-78NP)
- Enough USB ports. Individual audio and mic jacks are a plus. The rest are standard and working well.
- It has a lot of USB connectivity as well as a mini DisplayPort, which is very cool.
- Connecting to Wi-Fi is very simple and stable. All connectors are conveniently located.
- The usb ports are kind of tight and it makes it hard to insert some usb sticks that are totally fine with other computers.
- I had problem with unreliable wifi. The connection disconnects around 30 min - 1.5hrs of usage.
- I've managed to get things working using a DisplayPort-compatible USB adapter to connect to the TV.
- There are windows reality ready so if you have VR you can connect it.
- Connection for power adapter is strong (we have had many that break).
- Mac had problems at times with connecting to WiFi or Bluetooth, this one has never had any issues.
- No Gigabyte connection via LAN.
