- These are German engineering at its best - well made, with interchangeable parts (so if you wear something out, you simply replace the part, rather than the entire unit)
- They are a tad heavy (the trade off for well made kit), and do take a little getting used to if you've only ever used lightweight/cheaper headphones
- Comfort...wow..i love the enormous ?velour ear pads.. you can wear this hours on end without fatigue.
- The first time you unpack them and see the no-nonsense look, the big-and-bad all-replaceable-parts look, you know you're not talking about poser-gear here.
- The build quality is solid, the sound is amazing with a really punchy, strong bass and music, games and films sound amazing while using them.
- The size adjustment has a good range, and it locks into place well even after three years of use, no slipping.
- My large-headed friend tried them on and agreed that they were extremely comfortable, which is hard for him to find given the size of his noggin.
- There is a wide range of adjustment on the headband size, so it should fit heads of all sizes.
- The headphone is light weight, and the ear cups are very comfortable.
- The weight is non-offensive. They are neither featherlite nor weighty.
- The weight of the cord cracked the headphone jack on my laptop.

- Stand-alone use is very good, with plenty of detail showing across the range, a good place to start with audio kit if your budget won't stretch to additional kit as this will hold up well without an amp.
- With good quality DAC and amp, well it truly comes into its own when paired with good additional equipment - lots of detail which I've never heard before becomes noticeable
- I sometimes sleep with them on since it's so comfy. they should make a pillow out of the materials of their earpads. lol.
- They're super meaty in the low end, they do have a tiny bit of compromise on the mids, but the treble is awesome and the sound stage is as accurate as on my Eclipses and let me tell you, that is 110% praise because those latter's are the standard.
- Headphones themselves are of superior quality and produce beautiful crisp sound, with reverberating bass throughout the extremely-comfortable ear-cups.
- They have a good range of frequency response .
- Great frequency range, pure to the source material, wonderful openness!
- These babies provide satisfaction across the entire frequency range... highs to lows and everywhere in between.
- The model has lower impedance so it's great for using it without an headphone amplifier, for laptops, mp3 players, smartphones.
- The have a higher 50 ohm impedance compared to the norm of 32 ohms so you might have trouble getting the volume you want out of certain devices.
