The quality of the scans are very good.
This powers from a laptop / PC USB connection and has worked to scan thousands of photos at reasonable quality.
Scanning documents is a whiz, with the ability to add further pages to the one file.
The colour photo JPEG scans are a tiny bit out of focus and a tiny bit lacking colour.

Set-up was simple, just install the software.
The scanning software is easy to use and has a lot of features.
The OCR's quite good, though, like all OCR, it's never perfect.
Colours are good and the bundled software is useful for touching up.
