Quality is good and it takes up little desk space.
I've been mostly happy with the quality of the scans.
I started scanning and the quality is good.
I'm very happy with the speed and quality that this scanner provides.
My biggest issue is that the scan quality is terrible.

I've used it for typed documents, 3x5 and 4x6 cards, and 2.5x6 inch photos.
I have scanned folded and crumpled letter and legal size documents. All scanned well and quickly.
I have tried a wide variety of documents, photos and business cards including licenses. Very good scan.
So far this has been an excellent scanner for paper documents.
I bought 2 of these for a business client that does taxes. These are excellent document scanners.

Canon CanoScan LiDE 300 Colour Flatbed Scanner

The document reproduction was excellent.
The quality of the scans are very good.
This powers from a laptop / PC USB connection and has worked to scan thousands of photos at reasonable quality.
Scanning documents is a whiz, with the ability to add further pages to the one file.
The colour photo JPEG scans are a tiny bit out of focus and a tiny bit lacking colour.

The software included allows you to make shortcuts from the computer desktop as to how the file is scanned: picture, black and white etc.

The setup is super simple, just plug it into your USB and download the driver, which normally automatically install anyways.
The Canon IJ Utility software guides you and is very simple and straight forward software for your scanning.
Loved how easy this way to set up and the image quality of the scans are brilliant for the price to the product.
The scanner was very easy to install and does work with Windows 10.
