- The cabinets have lots of rounded edges and around the tweeter, also a bit of rounding around the bass port all this adds up to cleaner and more even frequencies.
- The speakers themselves are absolutely insane, I don't think you could get better quality if you tried.
- Did a lot of research on budget active monitors. Was choosing between the m-audio bx5 d2. Decided to go for the g3 rokit 5. very happy.
- Very clear. Nice coverage at the bass frequencies and gives a good flat response.
- They reproduce your music the way it was designed to be heard; Faithfully! Even though these monitors are nuetral, they really handle bass frequencies well for a 5 woofer.
- You do not need an amplifier as these babies are active monitors and plug in.
- I love these loudspeakers, the sound is clean and the top toner is really moving out of the speakers.
- I have a home voice over set up and needed a solid set of reference monitors.
- Now yes the woofer is only 5 inches and won't have the same big boom as an 8 inch of course but for a 5 inch woofer i can tell you that they do indeed have a very good amount of bass for sure.
- I'm patching though the line out because these are powered monitors
- Quite amazing speakers.. incredible sound quality, latest hardware inside, intelligent design both electronically and aesthetically, and remarkably powerful too.
- I am very pleased with the build quality of the KRK RP5 speaker and i will be buying another one.
- These are much clearer, although they were also quite a bit larger than I was expecting.
- Love my KRK's! All pros no cons. In white with yellow accents looks superb.
- It small size is really great as it doesn't take up much real estate on your desk. Would recommend.
- Great sound quality in a small package. Connected to my setup in about 5 minutes, using a pair of trs cables.
- You can hear every single little detail, and they're loud as hell for their small size.
- They're very true to sound and even though they're the smallest of the series, they deliver everything we need for the demos we're doing before we head into the studio.
- The size is perfect for my bed-room style studio setup, and the quality of sound is awesome.
- Great monitors. I was worried they would be too small for my needs, but turns out, they have more than enough power and are crystal clear.
- For a small size they can fill most small to medium rooms and unlike many speakers the frequency remains the same regardless of volume
- I have not taken actual measurements, but my hears are good at detecting any type of noise, and so far I could not hear any noise at all
- These are easy to listen to for hours and you do need to fine tune the Hi and Lo EQ knobs to get the best near flat response
- These are studio monitors, however I have them at home connected to my decks. The sound quality is brilliant.
- These speakers are amazing, really great flat sound, super for mixing and mastering.
- These speakers effectively allow you to hear everything as intended without colouring or deliberately exaggerating some frequencies.
- I am hearing my music in a whole new way having bought these.
- I recommend a set of these with a cheap mixer without reservation. Yamaha have done such a good job here and all my music sounds so much better for this set up.
- Overall the clarity of all the components of sounds with all settings on flat is such a pleasure to hear.
- I really like the tone of these. A flat response with a very pro monitor mid range ie tone.
- They look amazing between the yellow bass cones and the badge that illuminates when on
- They have XLR, 6.3mm Jack, and RCA inputs and have tried balanced and unbalanced which makes no or very little difference in the sound.
- These really are quality, well built and heavy but sound great, clear punchy basslines and they look amazing too.
- The sound quality is very good, the design match every single set up and it is worth the money as I don't think I am going to change them for couple of years now.
- Worth the money. Bags of bass. Very nice clarity. Like the colours.
- They have XLR and TRS inputs (balanced or unbalanced), and are 70W.
- If you want to rock out with them, you can equalize and turn the volume up.
- You can also adjust Room Control and High Trim, they're actually quite handy.
- I have these hooked up to a Technics 1200 turntable going through a Teac AG-790 receiver.
- I have them connected to my computer (via a split XLR) and a Zoom R24 Recorder (via TRS).
