- The sound filled the whole house and reverberated pleasingly through the walls, which I hoped the neighbours would appreciate
- I have used every other combination and nothing sounds anywhere near as good, full volume is exactly where it should be, no crackling
- Love these speakers, for a small set up like mine they are perfect.
- Very clean and articulated sound, plus striking looks and a nice, soft touch matte black finish make for a splendidly minimal product.
- Any louder would be totally unnecessary for the size of the room. Clear sound and very decent bass.
- They were bad, right up until they died, four months after they arrived.
- Got theese today and they sound great. My son already has some 5" krk rokits and there is not very much difference in sound.
- The frequency response is very good. Bass is deep and full, without overpowering and the highs are clean and crisp
- I bought the 5” version. These monitor housings are a little smaller than I thought they would be, but the sound they produce is quite good even using unbalanced RCA inputs.
- I chose the 5's for a lower frequency response (60Hz) and it was worth it, to my ears i don't notice any colorization in the sound.
- The volume they produce will not disappoint anyone! Stop messing around with small, cheap, low-quality speakers that only end up sounding lame and depressing you.
- Got these 5" ones for kids and they have been terrible. One set of speakers had no audio output after a year, and another failed intermittently within a year.
- These speakers are green-themed with a green power on led and green accents.
- They look fantastic with the green accents around the speakers.
- They are weighty, which makes me feel like they are a high quality product.
- As a bonus, the green on them matches the turntable itself, which gives the illusion that the whole setup was a well-thought out investment, rather than purchased on a spontaneous whim.
- Well done whoever you are that made these speakers with funny green circles, second rate name and dancing man logo.
- This speakers also look very nice on your desk. The design is clean and the cabinets are made from wood, not plastic.
- They look really cool and sound really punchy and clean for music production or any kind of media consumption.
- Loud for their size with clear sound. Build quality is sturdy.
- Wood cabinets sound better to my ears than plastic, so I appreciate Mackie using quality materials in these Monitors.
- The speakers are awesome and the sound quality is excellent for such a compact size
- Read the reviews. Lasted about 3 months. Awful build quality
- Im no audiofile but they Sound very full nice bass and clear clarity
- The overal sound reproduction is relatively good for the size and the price.
- I love how flat these sound, the mids, and highs help me reduce the hums and hiss I could not hear before, the sound is no longer muddy
- The stereo field is well defined, the sound balanced and detailed.
- I'm a Video Editor and from when I turned these on they were excellent, with a good Depth & Range.
- These speakers sound pretty good when they work, but they have a hardware flaw which will cause them to stop working after a year or so.
- Awesome speakers, good and loud sound with no distortion, perfect for the home.
- The stereo field is well defined, the sound balanced and detailed.
- I would not compare these to high end Monitors you see in a professional recording studio, but they will outperform almost any set of dedicated computer speakers.
- I did not hear any colouration across the whole spectrum. The bass is tight without any resonance
- They are quite punchy and handle both highs and lows well for their price.
- Also just chilling hooking up to the Bluetooth was great... and the easily accessible aux in and headphone slot at the front I liked
- They sound good and multiple inputs mean several devices can be used simultaniously
- You can connect your phone and watch youtube via youtube and edit video same time. You can hear the sound from both devices. The Bluetooth is easy to set up.
- The quality is only improved by the isolation pads that are included in the box, shows the company really wants you to get the best from these speakers.
- IF you are connected to another device via cables aswell as bluetooth, it will play from both sources at once.
- Where things aren't so good is that the build quality of the speak cable connectors is very poor.
- Great set of kit , marry up nicely with my turntable, well worth the cost.
- Particularly liked the fact that all three inputs work simultaneously, which meant we could run the PC, Amazon Echo AND Bluetooth all at once as required: very impressive
- Bluetooth feature is also nice but took me a while to figure out how to use it.
- They come with anti-vibe pads which was a nice surprise.
- The I/O selections are amazing and the Bluetooth feature is awesome, I've paired them with my desktop cpu, laptop, iphone and ipad and the connection is flawless
- Same as other reviewers here my CR5BTs just stopped putting out any sound, either from the direct line in or Bluetooth. Dead. Dead as a dodo.
