- I started with Blue Planet 2 and was immediately impressed. This is a fantastic 4k UHD demo series that's also quite entertaining to watch.
- This player was able to handle everything perfectly. Even having slightly better UHD and color reproduction than my Samsung.
- 4K with Dolby Atmos - I watched John Wick, I love the scence where it is raining, as the atmos-speakers create a truly emersive sound field -- the rain, the bullets, the action - wow.
- The Panasonic delivered the same impressive sound field as I received from the sony 4K player. It is an impressive scence and the panasonic delivered an excellent show.
- Works well for the most part and the picture quality is superb. For playing regular and 4K Blu-rays this is a top notch player without having to pay top dollar.
- Wifi connection is excellent (much better than my Samsung TV) my home movies transferred to DVD look great.
- The 4K UHD image is stunning and audio is very impressive.
- The wireless internet connection is fast and reliable, with no dropouts at all.
- The picture and sound quality is of course perfect, though it delivers much more than that.
- Last of all, the wifi connectivity is slow as hell, and quite annoying.
- It covers most people's needs with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, 4k upscaling, usb connection for most of your content.
- It's excellent. The player has no issues handling everything from Dolby Digital to DTS-HD Master or even TrueHD Atmos tracks.
- The player sent the right signals to my receiver and completed the overall theatrical experience perfectly.
- HDR brightness adjustments, contrast, change sound-track, manually set display mode, bandwidth limitation, 3D, Dolby Vision, HDR10, and much much more.
- The remote is a basic design, no backlight, the buttons are squishy, but it works.
- Very easy install, including wifi connection and movie stream apps.
- Wired and WIFI network both easy to setup. YouTube works well.
- With the built-in wifi it will also play Netflix, YouTube and other things, although the TV will also do that.
- Overall, i think that this is a good piece of kit. The picture quality is great on 4k bluray discs (& 4k Youtube).
- The biggest problem however was that I couldn't access any of the streaming apps.
- If you've set up a blu-ray player before, this will be the same out of the box. Connect the power, HDMI, and away you go.
- The back panel of the players has dual HDMI outputs (one audio-only), a 7.1-channel analog audio output, USB support, a LAN connection and an optical digital output.
- There is a USB port in the front under the pivoting flap. The player also has wifi connectivity.
- In addition to using the player for 4K movies, I have been using it to play audio discs and FLAC files via the USB port and have been pleased with the sound quality.
- Does not include an HDMI cable (for $500, it should include an HDMI cable).
- Simple to connect via HDMI and LAN. Recommended!
- Premium HDMI cable produces excellent 4K disc ultra-high-definition image quality and upscales normal Blu-ray discs to what looks like 4K.
- I received this 4K player today, plugged in the Ethernet cable, the (high-speed) HDMI cable, and plugged in the power cable - I was watching a 4K disc within 1 minute!
- Dual hdmi outputs is helpful if you want to reduce noise or if you have an older av receiver.
- This player connected to my network with no issues and gives the best output of any of the devices I have with web apps.
